Moody Havana after a rain storm. Along the Malecon the buildings still showing signs of being brutalized by Hurricane Irma.
Beautiful colours, and the light inside the water gives an aged look to this photo.
High-rises are uncommon and this one was strangely colossal and connected to a twin, too massive to capture on camera.
Along the Malecon, a massive seawall that runs along the length on much of Havana, I found this derelict stadium of some sort. There were police around the corner that didn’t allow for photography. The government wants to portray a tidier, maintained Cuba, and don’t like visitors photographing what they deem to be ruins. I found them incredibly beautiful!
The unique flavour of Cuba is captured in the contrasts between old and new, with varying architecture styles and vintage cars in every direction you look.
