I was eagerly anticipating the release of the second book in Elle Cosimano's Finlay Donovan series, Finlay Donovan Knocks 'Em Dead, and the sophomore volume did not disappoint. Finlay and Vero are back, carrying on from where they left off in Finlay Donovan is Killing It. Cosimano writes a book that is simultaneously funny and suspenseful, with a bit of romantic triangle mixed in. I love this series, and, happily, Cosimano leaves an opening for book #3 in the ending of this one. If you enjoy the Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovich, or the Kinsey Milhone books by Sue Grafton, you will definitely love Elle Cosimano's books.
