you and katsuki are sprawled out together on the couch, watching whatever action movie he had insisted on watching. at one point in the movie, a wedding scene began, and something popped into your head.
without looking away from the tv, âhey katsuki?â
âyeah?â
âwho do you think youâre gonna end up with?â you ask.
he shoots you a look. âwhatâre you talkinâ about?â
âlike! i dunno..â you pause, gesturing towards the tv. âlike that. who youâll marry someday.â
he shrugs and says simply: âfigured itâd be you. if you donât marry anyone else.â
you sit up and look at him, shocked. âwhat? why?â
his face is calm. casual. he looks at you, shrugging. âjusâ know. we already do all that dumb couple shit anyway. easy.â
you pause the tv. âthatâs not how it works! itâs a for life commitment? until death do us part! you cant justââ
âitâs practical.â he cuts in. âIâd do all the cookinâ, deal with everything, take care of you, then you can do whatever it is you do all day.â
you stare at him. âyouâre not serious.â
he looks at you, âwhy wouldnât I be? no point in lookinâ for something I already got.â
a nervous energy buzzed through you. âand what? weâd sleep in the same bed?â
he rolls his eyes, âwe cuddle all the time, dumbass.â
you chime in. âitâs not the same!â
he smirks as you nod, slowly, barley taking in what he said. he nods back and unpauses the movie, like now its all decided. like its set in stone.
bestfriend!katsuki when youâre newly single (part 1)
when you wake up, youre still on katsukis couch.
as you become more aware of your surroundings, you smell breakfast cooking, and spot katsuki in his kitchen shirtless.
you watch for a bit as he moves throughout his kitchen, his back muscles flexing and his sweatpants set low on his hips.
and heâs humming. bakugou katsuki, whoâs usually a grump, is humming as heâs cooking.
he spots you awake, and his face lights up. heâs immediately coming over to the couch, with a glass of water in his hand. âmorninâ sleepyhead.â
you smile at him. âmorning.. whyre you in such a good mood?â
you see it. the flush on his cheeks, how his eyes widen when your fingers brush his when he hands you the glassâ katsukis nervous. that, and weirdly happy.
he begins walking back into the kitchen, âmâ glad youâre free from that dickhead.â
a laugh escapes your lips. free? you wanted to ask what he meant, but you decided to leave it alone.
he comes back with a full plate of breakfast, handing it to you. âhere. you didnât eat last night.â
you hoped he wasnât walking on eggshells around you because of what had happened.
you sit up and grab the fork from him. âyou donât have to babysit me katsuki.. im fine. breakups happen every day.â
he pauses. âm not babysittinâ.â he sits down next to you now, facing you. âi figured you be hungry. was gonna cook anyway.â
you hum in response and continue eating. â..didnât know you were such a morning personâ
a shrug. âguess i am now.â
âwhy now?â you ask.
âcause youâre here.â
he blinks and clears his throat suddenly, as if he didnât mean to say that. âuhâtell me if you want seconds.â
weird. âokay. this is really good katsuki, thanks.â
he tuts. âobviously. i made it.â
when you finish eating, you begin to think about what katsuki had said earlier. âhey, what did you mean when you said youâre glad that im.. free now?â
he pauses, unsure of what to tell you. itâs not like he can just come out and say, âi always hated seeing you with someone else and im so happy youâre single now.â right?
katsuki lets out a slow breath. âI⊠was waiting.â
âwaiting? for what?â
he chuckled once, and looked down at his lap. âcmon.. dont make me spell it out.â
âkatsuki.â
fine. âI didnât like seeing you with him.â
ah. âi know you never liked him katsuki..â it was true. katsuki was supportive of any decision you made, sure, but you knew he thought your ex was an asshole.
âno.â it wasnât that. maybe a little. but, really, katsuki wanted to see you with him instead.
â..no?â
he hesitates. âhe never treated how you deserved. and itâs not like i couldâve told you to dump him cause I can do better. you were happy.. and I wasnât gonna fuck anything up for you.â
you stare at him. you had been so busy with your ex, you hadnât noticed that katsuki liked you.
ânot saying im glad youâre feelinâ hurt. just.. happy I can be here for you like iâve been wantinâ to.â
bestfriend!katsuki when you break up with your boyfriend!
itâs 2 in the morning when katsuki hears a rapid banging on his door.
dragging himself out of bed, he gets up with a groan, slips on the nearest pair of sweatpants he can find, and goes to open his door.
and when he does, itâs you. standing there, in your pajamas, eyes red and puffy like youâd been crying.
rubbing his eyes, voice full of sleep. â..the hell? whatâs going on?â he already stepping back allowing you to come in.
sniffing, âhe cheated on meâweâŠbroke up.â
you step closer to him, letting your face hit his chest and you start to sob.
oh.
oh.
fuck yeah.
he freezes before wrapping his arms around you slowly, pulling you closer, trying to comfort you. âcmere, i got you.â
you continue to sob into his shoulder, finally being able to let everything out. but little do you know, behind your back, heâs grinning like a villan. fucking ecstatic. practically shaking with excitement.
katsuki has been in love with you for months. but couldnât do anything about it due to your asshole of a boyfriend.
and now, he didnât have to hide anything. heâs been respectful of your relationship, sure, he wasnât going to ruin anything for you. heâs no home wrecker.
you settle down a bit, pulling back to look at him. his hair is a mess, clothes all disheveled, and his eyes tired. you didnât even realize until now that you mustâve woken him up. âyou.. were sleeping.â
he doesnât even care that you woke him up. this is way more important than sleeping. katsuki nods and gives you a soft smile. he grabs your hand and leads you to his couch. âdonât worry about me right now. come sit.â
he sits down first, pulling you down with him. closer than usual. he rests his hand on your knee, trying to sooth you. there was no holding back now. no more boundaries.
he lifts his arm, allowing you to lean into him. âI just thought he loved me..â
biting his lip to tame his smile, âhe was a lame anyway.â his hand finds your back, rubbing soft circles. his voice is sweet. like, almost too sweet. âyouâre alright. im here.â
after about half an hour of you rambling on about how you found out, along with on and off crying, katsukis set you up comfortably in his bedroom with a big blanket, some water, and a change of clothes.
softly, âthat dick didnât deserve you. youâre better than him you know.â
âthanks katsuki.â when you look at him, theres a spark of something in his eyes. âcan i stay here tonight? iâll just sleep on the couch.â
the couch? hell no. not when now he can have you right by his side. heâs quick to respond: ânah. weâre both gonna sleep in my bed.â
katsukis about to have the best night of his life. why?
youâre almost done ranting to katsuki about your greedy landlord when he decides to cut you off.
heâs standing in front of you, arms crossed. his attention fully on you while youâre sat on your counter yapping.
âyou should just move in with me already,â he says casually.
âwhat?â
âyour place is a shit showâ probably gonna come crashinâ down any second.â
you fake gasp. âhey!â
he began, âyou know im right. plus, youâre always over at my place anyway. half your shit already lives there, might as well just make it full time.â
your mouth opens to argue, but, heâs not wrong. you are at his apartment all of the time anyway. and your apartment is shit. noisy neighbors, ac sucks, rent going up constantly.
âhm.. guess youâre right. and youâre serious? for real?â
he looks at youâ with a bit of a softer look this time.
he shrugs like itâs the most normal thing ever. âcourse. wouldnât say it if I didnât mean it.â
your heart feels heavy now. the vibe in the room shifts to something you wouldnât know how to describe.
âdonât think itâs a favor. I want you there.â he adds, âjust gotta empty a few drawers for you, help you move in all your crap. no big dealâ
you grin, big. âno big deal? you wonât get annoyed with me all up in your space?â
he smirks back. ânah. think itâll be good.â
and just like that, you feel yourself nodding along.
he nods back, and its all decided. like it was that easy. like it was always going to happen anyway.
when you wake up, your mind is fuzzy. you bat your eyes open and the sunlight filtering through the curtain is enough to make you groan when it lands on your face. you try to toss your body on its side so you can get back to sleeping, but you notice something heavy keeping you from doing so. you rub your eyes and heat crawls up your neck when look down and see a big arm around your middle.
your eyes widen and that's when you finally take a moment to look around to see this room is not yours. these fancy sheets are not yours, the light scent of caramel and sweat is not yours its also when you turn your head back to see a man breathing softly behind you. his hair is messy, falling over his forehead, he's got no shirt on, and on his jaw lies something that looks awfully similar to the lip combo you had on last night. you rack your brain to try to remember what you had been doing the night before, how you ended up here and most importantly who the hell is this guy and why were you in his bed?
trying to at get a look at him, you shift around until you're facing him. you notice some spots of stubble he must've missed when shaving, some ragged scars on his chest and, woah, this man is fucking chiseled. his physique is pure lean muscle, his perfectly toned body like he lived his life lifting heavy and doing cardio. prominent veins run from his bicep down to his hands. he lets out a mumble, obviously still asleep, and that's when it hits you. dynamight. the pro hero, top of the charts, katsuki bakugou, is asleep next to you. you're not sure how you missed it, but you're sure.
last night you went out on the town with your friends to a local club. your friends raved on and on about how there had been pro hero sightings there but you'd brushed it off so easily. you remember getting there, ordering drinks and doing shots with your friends but after that its all blurry. you mustve been in a great mood, because you never go out clubbing with your friends, nor do you sleep with people you just met.
he then rustles around a little before his eyes open. your stomach clenched as you made eye contact with him, his eyelids low but his cherry eyes were unmistakable. he let out a soft sigh, his voice low and hoarse, "mornin," he presses a kiss to your shoulder, then looks at you as if scanning your face to see if you're comfortable. his arm reluctantly loosens from around you, giving you some space.
"morning.." you're not really sure what people say when they wake up after a one night stand. aren't you supposed to dip before the person even wakes up? he smiles at you softly before reaching over and grabbing a large black tee and handing it to you. the alcohol had your head pounding and your senses were impaired because you honestly hadn't even noticed you were naked. you kindly take it and slip it over your head, feeling around to poke your arms through. its chilly, and your nipples are showing through the shirt. embarrassing, but you just try your best to ignore it. "thanks.. um, do you, remember last night?"
he says your name, and it surprises you that he would even remember. you definitely would've drawn a blank at his name if you didn't already know who he was. his leg swing over the side of his bed, sliding himself into a pair of boxers. "fuckin' kirishima made me go to the club. kept forcin' shots on me. we met there." he pauses, looking back at you. "you feeling okay?"
you place a hand over your temple, "my head is pounding.." he gives you a 'hm' back and stands, then disappears into the hall. you hear his footsteps echoing and water running nearby. there's clothes sprawled all over the floor of his bedroom, your panties, bra, and the dress you had on last night along with your purse and what looks to be his clothes. he returns with a glass of water and aspirin in hand, forwarding them both to you. "s' for your head."
you take them from him, your hands touching briefly. its kind of annoying how this small interaction has your heart stuttering as if this man didn't have you pinned in his bed just the night before. "thanks bakugou, or, erm, is it okay to call you that?"
he stares at you for a second, "why wouldn't it be okay?"
you draw in a breath. "well you're dynamight, so, I dunno." you hoped he wouldn't take that wrong. you were sure lots of people just saw him more as a machine and less of a human being. a nervous energy ran through you as you waited to see what he would say. he climbed back into bed with you, a little smirk on his face. he jokes, "you noticed huh?"
a soft laugh came out of you. "of course I noticed. you're, basically a celebrity, right?"
he shrugs. "mm, guess so. katsukis fine though." he seemed softer than what you had seen about him in the media, and granted, you don't understand all of the hero talk and the stats and politics of it all but most if not every girl your age dreamed of katsuki bakugou. he himself isn't active on any platforms but his pr team does a good job of at least posting some things time to time. your heart fluttered to learn that he was okay with you calling him by his first name, and you wondered how you got yourself caught up in this situation with this man who is stupidly sexy.
you say okay and a moment of silence takes over, so he speaks up. "I don't usually do this, by the way. all that hookin' up shit." and it's true, katsuki never wanted to go out with kirishima in the first place but the past week had been so busy for him that his red haired friend insisted he deserved a break. he wouldn't admit it to kirishimas stupid face but he was enjoying himself at first, but by shot number four of straight vodka kirishima had went off talking to some girl that was just as drunk as he was before disappearing on katsuki. he was definitely more drunk than he was comfortable with but when he was paying the tab, you brushed up against his side, tipsy as hell trying to order more drinks for you and your friends.
you met and began talking from there, and by time you had remembered why you were at the bar in the first place your friends had gone, likely each of them had found some guy to hook up with. you and katsuki laughed, both of your brains fuzzy and your faces arm, chatting for a few hours. the bar was soon closing and katsuki offered to take you home, but when the two of you ended up getting too close in the back of his drivers bag, your thigh brushing against his and his head full of the smell of you, he kissed you and it went from there.
you noticed an open condom on his night stand which was a relief. even though you are on the pill it was nice to know even shitfaced you were still being safe. katsuki spoke, breaking you out of your thoughts. "you hungry?"
he was being nice. whenever you had heard the horror stories of hookup culture from your friends, you certainly were not expecting him to offer you food. "yes please, food would be great." you watch him stand, and he's pretty. he's still shirtless, just now wearing baggy sweatpants and white socks. his back muscles are prominent, and you catch yourself staring. he slides his feet into a pair of slippers and he walks off into his kitchen. you decide to get up, look in a nearby mirror to at least look somewhat presentable before following.
you couldn't not notice how nice his place was. it seems to be some kind of pent house, with a modern look but you notice some small things around that make it feel more like a home. its tidy, almost too tidy to be a mans apartment. you find katsuki in the kitchen rummaging through his fridge, pulling out a few eggs and some bacon. he sees you and gestures for you to sit at his island which faces where he's cooking at his stove.
"got clean clothes in my dryer if y'wanna change after we eat." if you're staying, he wanted to add. he had never done this before. katsuki barley even has people over let alone a woman. he's hoping you'll stay at least a little longer. he wouldn't want to scare you off after sharing something so intimate with each other. he finishes cooking and makes plates for the both of you, setting them both down and he sits right next to you at the island. the silence is comfortable at this point, you both just eat in each others presence.
you honestly could get horny all over again from just this. for a moment you imagine what it would be like to be dating him and to be able to wake up like this every day, to be taken care of and fed after a long night.
when finished eating katsuki took both of your plates without saying anything. he shows you his laundry room and you put on sweatpants and socks that are way too big for you but smell exactly like the bed you woke up in earlier. while you change katsuki goes and cleans up his room, gathering all of your clothes and folding them for you nicely. he didn't want to make you feel trapped or like he was trying to kick you out, he was really trying to be as welcoming as possible.
when you finish changing, he lets you know that he has to start getting ready for work soon since he's on patrol duty. you kind of take that as your sign to leave, and he helps you grab all of your things and show you to the door. when you turn around to say goodbye, katsuki looks oddly nervous. "d'you.. can I get your number?"
you blush. "my number? yeah, yeah sure." you're trying so hard to not seem eager. you guys swap phones to put your information in and katsuki offers you a soft smile.
"text me when you get home." he takes a slow breath before, "y'think you would wanna see me again?"
you blink in surprise. "I- yeah. text me?"
he steps closer, humming softly, "mhm," pressing a light kiss to your forehead before opening the door and letting you out.
â€ïž . . . accidentally discovering one day that peter's wrists are (weirdly) sensitive after his enhancement, so you take it into consideration the next time you go down on him and his entire world shatters.
smut. dick sucking. organic web shooter sucking (ok guys don't make fun of the girl who put herself out there). cum licking.
you've got him on his back, sprawled across the bed, and you're kneeling between his thighs. his moans are growing louder. sharp and quick. the muscles in his thighs twitch with every inch your mouth takes him deeper, and his hands are tangled in your hair, pulling gently at the roots. he's close.
"i'm gonnaâ" he pants, throwing a forearm over his face.
you pull off with a pop, shaking your head. "don't. wanna try something."
peter sits up on his elbows, confusion settling over his face. "w-what? why?"
you don't answer him. take him into your hand instead and start rubbing him firmly from base to tip. he settles back against the bed and watches as you work him, waiting expectantly with his lip pulled between his teeth for whatever you're planning. then, you grab his arm and bring it to your face, twist it until the skin of his wrist makes contact with your lips.
peter's brows pull together, still unsure, and then he's throwing his head back in ecstasy, sputtering a string of 'baby's that echo off the walls. your mouth latches onto the flap of skin where his organic webs spurt from, and you watch him intently as he comes undone beneath you, a mischievous smile forming on your lips.
"that nice?" you ask, pulling away briefly, hand still tugging and squeezing.
then, a second later, breathless and strained, "god, this is so weird," he chokes out, gripping the sheet. "but 's g-good... sososo good. don't stop."
you giggle against him, and the vibration shoots up the length of his arm. your tongue dances across his skin, alternates between flicking and sucking the flap, and you can feel his forearm pulsing. throbbing. shifting under your tongue like it's preparing for release.
when you glance up at peter, he's already looking up at you, leaning back on his elbow. his jaw is slack, chest rising and falling in rapid succession, and his eyes flicker from white to black intermittently. you quicken your pace, sucking his wrist and stroking him in tandem, all while holding his gaze.
briefly, you pull off to encourage his release. "you're so close, baby. let go for me."
a few more licks and tugs later, peter comes violently. he releases all over your hand. wet and thick and warm. his wrist follows next, shoots out webbing in quick succession, and lands all over the room before covering you in one final spurt.
peter falls against the sheets with a huff, too far gone to be embarrassed by the state of the room. you pump him a few more times before you retract your hand, then settle on top of him, straddling his waist.
"how do you feel?" you ask, licking the spend off your hands.
he blinks an eye open, still panting. "used," is all he says.
you laugh, lean in close to his ear. "well, get ready to be 'used' again because i wanna try something else," you say, voice low and teasing, "and... i can already feel you getting harder. you liked that, admit it, pervert."
peter turns his head, rolls his eyes. "no comment."

Second Time Around: Extras Masterlist
As you wiped down the dining table following another night of having dinner with the kids, you turned around after hearing the water running in the sink. Katsuo was washing the dishes, standing on a little stool to reach the sink.
âOh, baby, no. Let me,â you interjected, dropping the rag on the table and going to Katsuoâs side.
âItâs okay, Mom,â Katsuo said with a smile. âI know youâre tired.â
You kissed his head and thanked him as he finished washing the first plate. âYeah, Momma. Youâre always sleepy,â Suki quipped from where she still sat at her seat at the dining table.
âI know. I havenât been sleeping well,â you said with a sigh, joining her at the table.
âWhy?â Katsuo asked, his voice dripping with concern as he glanced over to you.Â
âItâs nothing. Iâve just been busy⊠at school,â you said vaguely. Katsuo nodded slowly, giving you a look. He didnât believe you for a second but he didnât pry any further.Â
You helped him clean up the rest of the dishes before turning the lights off in the kitchen. âAlright. Letâs get to bed, you two,â you told your children. âYouâve got school.â
Katsuo watched as you took Suki into her room to tuck her in. Only being five, she always insisted on both you and Bakugou to tuck her into bed when she was at either of your homes. After that Katsuo went to his room to go to sleep.
It was four in the morning and Katsuo had just finished up in the bathroom after waking up in the middle of the night. He groggily walked back to his room, barely able to open his eyes and just as he was about to open his door, he heard muffled crying.
He froze in front of his door, assuming it had to be Suki and carefully opened her bedroom door. Suki often had nightmares and Katsuo did his best as her older brother to comfort her since he was such a light sleeper. This usually consisted of him sleeping beside her as she clung to him for the rest of the night.
But when he assessed Suki, she was sleeping soundly, sprawled out and across her bed as she snored soundly with her mouth wide open, causing Katsuo to stifle a laugh as he closed her door. He assumed he was hearing things and right when he was going back to his room, he heard another sob.
Katsuo felt every nerve in his being freeze when he realized you were the one crying. He tiptoed quietly, twisting the doorknob to your room and cracking it open a tad to peer inside.Â
The sight before him made him swear he felt his heart stop beating. You were sat up against the wall, your knees to your chest where you sat on the floor. Your head was buried in your hands, your palms muffling your sobs and Katsuo knew you did so to make sure you didnât wake him or Suki.Â
He didnât know what to do at first. It felt wrong to see his mother, someone he cared for and loved deeply to be caught in such a vulnerable state. Katsuo contemplated closing the door and going back to bed. But he loved you way too much to not try to do something.
âMom?â He called out softly.
You flinched from the sound of his voice, lifting your head up and making eye contact with him with wide eyes. You rubbed away at your eyes with your hands, trying to rid them of your tears. âOh, Tsuo! W-Whatâre you doing up?â
âI went to the bathroom⊠Whyâre you crying?â Katsuo asked, opening the door a little wider.
Your lips trembled into a smile as you stood to your feet. âIâm fine, baby.â
Katsuo assessed you for a moment. âIs it about Dad?â
Katsuo recalled earlier in the week when a classmate had approached him and asked if his father was dating another pro hero after hearing about the rumor on the news. Katsuo thought and knew it was bullshit; his father was way too busy to ever have time for a significant other. Katsuo could only assume you had heard about the rumor as well.Â
âN-No, itâs nothing,â you stuttered with a shake of your head.Â
âDadâs not seeing anyone,â Katsuo said abruptly.Â
âTsuoââ
âHeâs always working and when weâre with him, heâs always with us. He isnât dating anyone,â Katsuo said, his words rushing together.
âBaby, your father can date who he wants. Itâs not my business anymore.â
âWell, itâs my business and I donât want another Mom,â Katsuo responded with a hint of annoyance.
You sighed. âIâm fine, okay? Get back to sleep. You have to wake up for school in a few hours.â
Katsuo looked at you carefully. He knew there was no use in trying to get you to tell him what was upsetting you. You always looked after him and Suki, ensuring that theyâd never have to worry about you.
So Katsuo gave in and nodded his head. âOkay. Good night, Mom,â he said quietly, turning around and going back to his room.
It was the weekend and Katsuo and Suki were at Bakugouâs like they were every week. Katsuo was lying in bed, flipping through a book aimlessly as he was about to fall asleep.Â
The door opened and Katsuo sat up slightly as he made eye contact with his little sister. âWhatâs up?â He asked.
Suki bit her lip and fidgeted in place. Clearly she was nervous about something, her eyes darting away from her brotherâs gaze. âWhatâs wrong?â Katsuo asked, sitting up fully.
Suki closed the door behind her, approaching Katsuo and she patted his bed. Katsuo leaned over and helped her onto his bed and she crossed her legs to face him.Â
âIs Momma sad?â Suki asked, twiddling her thumbs.Â
âWhy do you ask?â
âI saw you sitting outside her room once⊠and I heard her crying,â Suki whispered, glancing up at Katsuo for a moment.Â
Katsuo sighed, running a hand through his hair. âI dunno⊠I donât think she wants us to worry âcause weâre kids. Weâre her kids.â
âOhâŠâ
Katsuo mustered up a smile for his sister as he put his hands on her shoulders. âDonât worry âbout it, alright? Iâm sure sheâs okay.â
âReally?â Suki asked, her crimson eyes big and filled with hope.
Katsuo knew he had to lie and as much as he didnât want to he had to; he couldnât have his kid sister worrying about something like this. That was his job.Â
âReally,â Katsuo confirmed.Â
Suki grinned and Katsuo ruffled her hair, causing her to shriek, raising her little arms to shield her head.Â
Bakugou was sitting on his couch, winding down after a busy week with his feet propped up on an ottoman while he mindlessly watched TV. Then he heard a pair of small feet stampeding down the steps, Suki reaching the bottom step in her Dynamight footie pajamas and incredibly disheveled hair.Â
âYou still up?â Bakugou asked, glancing at the clock on the wall to see it was way past her bedtime.
Suki nodded her head. âIâm not sleepy.â
Bakugou cocked his head to his side. âCâmere.â Suki smiled shyly, sauntering over to him and plopping down on the couch beside him before curling up against him. She wrapped her small arm around his torso, pressing her cheek into his side and Bakugou had an arm around her.
Suki was quiet for a moment before saying, âDaddy?â
âHm?â
âAre you and Momma friends?â
Bakugou flinched. âWhat?â
âMy friend says her parents arenât together either but theyâre friends⊠So are you?â Suki asked curiously.
Bakugou rubbed the back of his neck, contemplating what to respond with. âYeah, I mean⊠We get along.â
âWell, friends look after each other, right?â
ââCourse they do.â
âTsuo told me not to worry but⊠I think Mommaâs sad.â She paused. âReally sad.â
Bakugou pulled away from her, looking down at her with concern. âWhaddya mean?â
Suki looked up at him. âMommaâs been crying a lot.â
âWhy? What happened?â
Suki shrugged. âShe doesnât want us to worry âcause weâre kids but⊠Daddyâs a grown up, right?â
âYeahâŠâ
Bakugou waved to the kids as they went off into your home, another successful drop off in the bag. You stood by your front door, not bothering to give Bakugou a second glance as you went to close the door.Â
âWait!â Bakugou interjected. You opened the door slightly, looking at him curiously. âCan I⊠Can we talk?â
You considered him for a moment before nodding curtly, taking a step down onto your front porch and closing the door behind you. âWhat?â You asked, crossing your arms over your chest.Â
âYou okay?â Bakugou questioned.Â
âIâm fine.â
âIâm just askinâ âcauseâ Look, the kids are worried.â
Bakugou watched as your hardened expression softened at the mere mention of your children. âSuki said she heard you cryinâ and she saw Tsuo outside your door.â
âFuck,â you cursed under your breath, closing your eyes momentarily and looking off to the side.Â
âWhatâs goinâ on?â
âLook,â you said, turning your attention back to your ex-husband. âIâm fine.âÂ
âClearly you arenât ifââ
âIâm fine, alright?!â You interrupted him, your voice decibels louder than you anticipated. âYou donât get to act concerned, Katsuki. You divorced me. And when you did, you lost any right to check in on me or care about me, alright?â
Bakugou exhaled through his nose. âI know weâre divorced. But if the kids notice youâre upset and cryinâ, itâs a problem. Itâs my problem âcause⊠I still care about you.â
âStop just stop,â you said, averting your gaze from his and biting your lip. Bakugou swore he saw your eyes tear up. âI canât handle this. JustâJust leave, alright? Iâll see you next weekend.â
âY/Nââ
You didnât wait to hear him out any further as you retreated back into your home and shut the door in his face.
Bakugou wanted to bust the door down and hold you in his arms, demand you for answers and figure out what was bothering you. But he knew he had absolutely no right to do so. For all he knew, it was most likely his fault for your tears⊠and despite that it didnât make it easier for him knowing you were up late at night crying yourself to sleep.
SYNOPSIS: your boyfriend has been acting suspicious recently. always on his phone, awkward as hell, sweating through his shirts and mind elsewhere. he must be cheating!
NOTES: heâs not cheating. dialogue. fluff. angst. established relationship.
âi think we should break up.â
the words leave your mouth before you can catch them, slipping out like high tides of a waterfall.
truthfully youâre had enough. your boyfriend has invited you to this fancy restaurant, wearing a white shirt and slacks, pushed you to wear a pretty dress⊠all to ignore you on the other side of the table. heâs mid typing on his phone with one hand, chicken skewer in another as his head darts up to you and begins to choke.
itâs dramatic, loud, causing heads to turn as this large muscled man begins coughing like he caught a sickness. or worse. a marinated chicken chunk is stuck in his throat. bakugou katsukiâs eyes begin to water from food going down the wrong pipe, flaring red on impact. you momentarily feel so bad that you get up to tap his back and a waiter hands him water.
he gulps it down, staring at you with wet frowning eyes as you sit back down opposite him. you bite down on your lip in pure worry, fiddling with the hem of your dress.
when heâs finished the glass, youâre sure you see sweat glistening on his forehead either from his choking attack or from your comment. probably both. bakugouâs wiping his mouth when he utters, âwhat the fuck? why? yâserious?â
it hasnât just been tonight. recently, things just havenât been the same. maybe your four year relationship has run its course⊠youâre even suspicious heâs cheating on you. your three times a week meet-ups and sleepovers have swindled down to one, with excuses of work or prior engagements. whenever he is with you, heâs always on his phone, typing away or stuffing it into his pocket when you walk into the room. in the car is usually when youâd chat and laugh, catching up on each other's days. that has become a one sided interview of you asking him questions while his mind is so clearly elsewhere. he replies with one liners or asking you to repeat yourself three times before you give up.
you saw your life with katsuki, forever and always. as someone whoâs never cared for marriage growing up, katsuki has been the first person whoâs made you imagine that day. handsome in his suit at the end of the aisle, most likely crying and swearing too many times in his speech.
but recently those thoughts of forever have come crashing down quicker than you can handle.
âor a break? just some time apart,â you take a deep breath, youâre trying your best to make eye contact in this busy restaurant. a date heâs finally put together after weeks. âi just need time apart.â
youâre at your limit! you want to scream. iâm sure youâre cheating on me! youâre always so secretive on your phone!
but youâve already grieved so much privately that youâre exhausted at this point.
âbaby, what?â you can tell he doesnât know where to start, but itâs satisfying to see him looking anything but sly or holding something back.Â
his eyes are wide, the red veins visible like heâs already cried his heart out. you notice his fingers, dying to grab you from across the table. he pushes his plate to the side.
âwhat have i done? why dâyou want one? speak to me here.â
his voice cracks on the last word but he catches himself by sitting up straight, giving up on his internal battle and grabbing your hand across the table. it all breaks your heart, causing you to look away from him.
you clench your eyes shut, âweâve not been the same recently and iâm not accusing you of anything but iâm so sure youâre keeping a secret from me.â
you yank your hand away from him, looking him in the eye. âyouâre always texting on your phone and i know when youâre lying, katsuki. i ask you who it is and you say deku or kiri, but i know itâs not.â
even now, you can tell you caught him out. you think heâs stopped breathing, no words coming out his mouth as his lips part. then his shoulders slump and his hand comes up to rub roughly at his face. he mutters into his palm but you canât hear a thing.
âi canât believe⊠fuck. iâm not fuckinâ cheatinâ on you. iâd never do that shit. you hear me? iâd never.â he grits his teeth.
you donât reply, just continuing to blink at him.
âyn, baby. i love you. i wouldnât do that to you.â he presses, desperate to hold you or bring you home to talk privately. or just for you to understand him.
âi do know katsuki. well, i think i do but recently everything has been so weird between us.â you sigh, looking down at your matching untouched soup, âwe havenât been together as much as usual. it feels like your mind is always elsewhere when weâre together. youâre always anxious and texting before we go out. i hate it. i want to go back to how we were.â
youâre about to start whining at him. âiâve missed giggling, sex and flirting with you. everything feels so serious and i donât know why.â
you donât cry, youâve cried about this for the past week before coming to this decision. âi think we should break up.â
bakugou grabs your hand from across the table, refusing to let go even when you lightly tug.Â
âweâre not breakinâ up.â he says sternly, âiâm fuckinâ this all up, i know i am. i know iâve been weird as hell recently. i canât tell you why though.â
you scrunch your nose like a bad smell has wafted in. âwhy canât you tell me?â
âi just canât. itâs for a good reason though. promise.â he pleads, forcing a smile on his face but it only comes out awkward, bordering on scary. too much teeth, eyebrows raised.
you shake your head, âno, no. iâve been crying over you, over our relationship for the past week now. you either tell me now or iâm gone, katsuki.â you frown harsher, breaths shaky. âyouâre cheating, arenât you?â
âi said iâm not! iâd never do that shitâ,â he scoffs, disgusted at the idea.Â
âshow me your phone!â you demand, again yanking your hand away from him and instead, holding out your palm.Â
bakugou pauses, swears under his breath. the pro hero is flustered, hair a mess from taking his hand through it repeatedly. âi know how this looks. i canâtâ.â
âthen weâre over.â
bakugou practically growls across the table as you cross your arms. âno weâre not. i fuckinâ love you. iâve been all over the place recently but just waitââ
you roll your eyes, âwait for what? iâm hearing words with no meaning, katsuki.âÂ
without releasing a single tear, you rise to your feet. âiâll see you later to pick up my stuff. goodbyeâ,â
âfor fucks sake. fine. sit your ass down. iâll tell you. donât say shit to me after.â bakugou crosses his muscled arms in his crisp white shirt across his chest.
âdepends on what you show me,â you mutter but bakugou levels your stare.
âsit down, baby.â
thereâs always that certain something in your boyfriend's tone that makes you listen. the same tone that makes his agency listen to him, civilians and villains alike. for you thereâs a wisp of care behind it, that heâs aware of how sensitive heâs made you as of recent.
you plop back down in silence.
âremember youâre askinâ to see this. donât get mad once you see it.â
âyouâre gonna show me the woman youâre cheating on me with and expect me not to get mad?â youâre petty now, waving away the waiter thatâs about to walk over. âcâmon get on with it.â
bakugou rolls his eyes, âi should spank you for this. like hell iâd ever cheat on you.â
your eyes widen. itâs not the time for sexual jokes. âfuck off, katsuki.â youâre about to kick him under the table.
though he pulls out his phone from his pocket, unlocks it with his face and slides it across the table to you.
his home screen is a photo of you sitting on a picnic blanket in the park from last year. youâre smiling at him, a punnet of strawberries on your lap in a long gingham maxi dress.
your heart rattles against your chest. he isnât so evil to make you read through the text messages with his secret lover is he?
âcan you just tell me? i donât want to read them.â
he shakes his head, âno or youâre still gonna think iâm fuckinâ around. look yourself.â
bakugou looks slumped. jutting his jaw to his phone.
you take a deep breath and you tap open his text messages. the green app opens into a load of chats. first being your chat with him, saying what time youâre going to arrive at his apartment.Â
your heart skips a beat at the next name. a womanâs name.
âwho the hell isâŠ,â
then you read the next womanâs name.
âwait⊠are these myâ,â
itâs your best friend, your childhood best friend. second on the list is another childhood friend of yours, not your shared friends with katsuki, but your friends.
next is momo and mina on the list.
then deku, kirishima, kaminari and shouto.
you frown up at your boyfriend, âwhy are you talking to my friends?â
but you donât give him time to answer, tapping open the text messages with your best friend.
immediately, your hand flies to your mouth and just as quickly as you skim read the texts, you lock the phone.
âdonât show me anymore!â you whisper. âwhat the fuck, katsuki!â
bakugou grunts, staring at his stretched fingers. âthat explain it? iâve just been scared shitless. a fuckinâ pussy.â
youâre reacting like⊠like you just saw that heâs going toâŠ
âyouâre going to propose to me?â you say breathlessly, through your fingers.
âthat was gonna be the plan if i could ever get the stupid words out or if you donât break up with my dumbass before i can.âÂ
you stare at your handsome, gorgeous, love of your life across the table from you at this fancy restaurant. you have to wave away the waiter again who wants to take your dirty plates and stare down this beautiful man. despite it all, now the truth is out, he looks less anxious, as if a literal shiny diamond stone has fallen off his back.
âyou were asking them if iâd want to get my nails done.â
he nods, arm resting on the length of the table as he slouches in his seat. bakugou struggles to make eye contact with you. instead heâs filled with embarrassment and rosy red cheeks. âyeah. i know you donât get them done usually but i was thinkinâ of all the possibilities.â
âand you were double checking if iâd like the ring.â
his eyes dim, flickering over at you, âi know youâll love it. just overthinkinâ everythinâ.â
âyou were asking if you should do it tonight.â
he sighs loud and dramatic, âevery time i see you i ask them beforehand. one time you were wearing comfy clothes on a date so i thought you wouldnât want it then âcause of photos, another time you were upset about work so that wasnât the day. i was thinkinâ of takinâ you abroad somewhere but all our âplacesâ are in this city. then whether i should get professional photographers? i wanted to do it today, itâs the reason iâm sweatinâ through this goddamn shirt.â
you gasp, âi thought that was the guilt from cheating on me. i honestly thought you were going to break up with me. taking me out on one good last date before putting me down like a dog.â
âbaby,â he lightly chuckles, then throws his head back, âguess itâs not a secret anymore. i fucked that up.â
you pout, âi still havenât seen the ring, honey.â
bakugou lifts his head up and you rub your foot against his under the table, âiâm honey now?â
âyouâre my sweet bumblebee.â
bakugouâs flushed cheeks donât let up so he rolls his eyes in defence.
âwhat did mina and momo say?â
âaskinâ them for advice. how theyâd like to be proposed to. didnât really matter âcause youâre not them. mina wants to it to happen on a yacht. she needs to get a man first.â
you kick his shin lightly, a small smile on your cheeks. âwell i feel better now i know weâre not breaking up.â
âi felt like throwinâ up every time youâve told me youâre on your way or iâve been on my way to you. thatâs why iâve been so quiet. tryinâ not to blow up over my dashboard.â he curses, clicking his tongue and looking anywhere but your face.
finally, you let the waiter take your plates and you and katsuki really look at each other. itâs as if you both release a deep sigh from the pit of your stomach.
âsorry for thinking you were cheating on me.â you say, rubbing your foot along his shin.
ânah, iâd think i was too with the way i was actinâ. i just want it to be fuckinâ right. everything youâve dreamed of,â he rubs under his nose, a light pout on his lips as he talks.
âi never really dreamed of marriage so anything with you would be perfect, honey.â you soothe, then you frown, âdoes that mean you were trying for propose on the boat ride we went on last month? wait⊠do you have the ring on you now?â
bakugou subconsciously taps his slacks pocket. the velvet box right in there.
heâs got no time to reply because youâre already jumping halfway across the table, âlet me see it, kats. let me see!â
âiâm not showinâ you now! you see it when i propose properly. iâm not proposinâ today. the momentâs gone.â
heâs acting like a grump, it makes you want to coo, grab his cheeks and kiss him all over. usually itâs him calming you down, telling you everything will be alright but whatâs a relationship without shifting responsibilities?
âdid you think i was going to say no?â you smile, your head resting in your palm.
bakugou still can barely look at you, especially with you beautifully smiling at him without a care in the world. heâs missed this with you, desperately. everything has been so painfully stressful regarding you because he needs to have it perfect. he couldnât not have the proposal be perfect.
bakugou shrugs, an awkward laugh as he scratches his head, âwell yeah, baby. thereâs a possibility you donât want my ass forever.â
âhm. okay.â you grin.
that gets him frowning, leaning over the table to get closer, âwait, youâd say yes. wouldnât you?â
âiâll let that be the surprise whenever you propose!â
âbaby.â
âbakugou katsuki.â
âyouâre gonna be a bakugou whether you like it or not.â he grunts and your giggles flow out uncontrollably.
âthatâs the confidence we need, honey.â you hum and bakugou rolls his eyes, stretching his jaw side to side as he stares you down. âbut in all honestly, wait a little. youâre going to be nervous either way but just wait till youâre calmer. weâre in no rush.â
bakugou sighs. âcan i ask you questions? so itâs perfect whenever i get the balls to do it.â
âask away.â
âdo you want your nails done?â
you shrug, âthey hardly ever are so itâs okay if theyâre not.â
bakugou jots that down mentally. âyouâd want photographers, right? for your insta?â
that gets you laughing, âi would. do you have any right now waiting on your command?â
bakugouâs blush deepens, âsorta. i have one thatâs about fifteen minutes away if i were to do it.â
your lips go into an o shape. âthatâs cute, katsuki. wow.â
âiâve prepared some stuff,â he says shyly, âi was gonna do it here. this is the first restaurant i took you to four years ago.â
you blink, taking in the space once again. this was the exact same booth also! he was stuttering away that day, swearing too much while you giggled at every other word he said. you were already obsessed with him. he was planning on already asking you to be his girlfriend.
âfuck. you didnât even notice, did you?â he rubs his palm over his face.
âi was too focused on the fact that you were cheating on me!â
âi wasnât!â
âi know that now!â
the waiter swiftly walks over sliding your mains over the table. the smile on your face stays, in fact you feel elated right now. the best youâve ever been with katsuki. and katsuki, well. he feels like he failed a mission but gained you again along the way.
âno more proposal talk. iâll sort it later. howâve you been? really? i hate that this has made you cry. iâll make it up to you.â he rambles, pulling your chair closer to the table by his foot. âgonna spend these next few days with you. apologise for everythinâ.â
âi do miss kissing you.â
âiâll kiss you all over. âm sorry.â
âand i miss going on casual dates and hearing about work and laying on the sofa doing nothing with you.â
bakugou nods, taking it all in. âweâll go back to how we were. i missed you too.â
katsuki ends up proposing to you, completely unexpected, two months later. he told you itâs easier if you guys walk to the brunch spot he wants to take you to. so through the park, holding hands, bakugou rambles on, somewhat nervously about how much he loves you. you donât think anything of it, already wanting to bring him in for a cuddle and a kiss. but everything switches when he drops onto one knee.
one by one your friends and family appear. getting up from benches and his friends, from behind trees.
there are two photographers that are present. just like you wanted. youâre going to have so many options for your instagram dump.
and when bakugou asks you the question, you give him the same answer you would have said months ago.
george weasley fingering the shit out of you ( 18+ mdni ) (requested by anon)
your mind was blissfully empty. drool was slipping from your mouth as moan after moan escaped your lips. the reason? george weasley had you face down, ass up as his fingers pumped in and out of you.
you words were beginning to slur. "ngh â s'good, s'fucking good."
"yeah?" asked george, his voice dripping with pride. "i know it is."
george only had one finger inside you, but one was was enough. long and thick, he was curving it perfectly to hit the right spot, over and over. you tried to rock your hips back, but a slap to your ass made you reconsider. george soothed the red skin down, chuckling. "i'm in charge, darlin', don't forget it."
"need mo â more!" you gasp out, head tilting back to look at him.
"more?" he echoed. "greedy girl. already dripping down my whole hand."
george might've been teasing you, but he was also never one to deny your pleasure. which is why a minute later, you felt his thumb press onto your clit as another finger breached your entrance.
you let out a strangled groan. "please, please, please, yes! thank you â fuucckkk â thank you, georgie."
george shoved your head back down, muffling your voice and keeping a firm hand there. "keep it down, will you? don't wanna wake someone up. can't have everyone knowing you love getting fingered like a slut."
you nodded, feeling a little pathetic by how wet you are. george's fingers move faster and faster, filling the room with an obscene squelching sound. your thighs were beginning to tremble, threatening to give out, but george's voice snaps like a warning: "don't you dare. i've been doing all the work anyway, all you have to do is sit there and take it."
you nearly wail as his fingers slip out of you, flipping you over. your eyes meet his chocolate ones, and they darken even more as he takes in your state. tears are rolling down your cheeks, panting in small puffs. he leans down and places a soft kiss to your temple. "you're a bloody vision, sweetheart. lookin' all fucked out and i haven't even given you my cock yet."
you pouted up at him. "needa cum, georgie, please, fill me up again!"
he looked over your body almost scientifically as he pulled a pillow under your hips, elevating them. "gotta do something about your damn mouth, though... keep you quiet."
you bit your lip as you took his other hand to your mouth and sucked on his fingers. he seemed satisfied as he pushed them deeper into your mouth. "that'll do it. suck them like it's my cock. fuckin' cockwhore. maybe next time fred can keep your mouth busy."
you spread your legs wider, showing him how your entrance clenched, and his eyes darkened. without any warning, he plunged his fingers back inside. three long, veiny fingers were splitting you open. every thrust of them was hitting just the right spot, causing your vision to whiten and eyes to flutter closed.
"mhm, don't stop!" you said, voice warbled around his fingers. spit was escaping from the corner of your mouth, dripping down your tits as you tweaked and pinched your nippes.
"can feel your pussy squeezing me sooo tight." said george triumphantly. "gonna cum? go ahead, soak my fingers."
that was all you needed as your body writhed around the bed, waves and waves of pleasure rolling over you. you could feel electricity tingling to your fingertips, toes curling. george's assault never stopped, his fingers moving faster and bordering on overstimulation.
it was only when you finally collapsed, tired, did george pull out his fingers, licking each one theatrically while his eyes were raking over your body. he was nowhere near finished with you.
You showed up to his apartment wearing nothing but his hoodie â the black one with the orange X, the one that swallowed you whole, hem brushing mid-thigh. No bra. No panties. Just you and his scent wrapped around you.
Katsuki opened the door, looked you up and down, and went still.
"Forgot my clothes," you said, breezing past him.
He grabbed your wrist before you made it two steps. Yanked you back against his chest. His hand slid under the hem, rough palm skating up your bare thigh, and you felt him go rigid when he realized â nothing.
"The fuck," he breathed.
You shrugged, innocent. "Laundry day."
His grip tightened. He walked you backward until your shoulder blades hit the wall, caging you in with his arms. "You walked here like this? In my shit? Where anyone could'veâ"
"No one saw."
"Don't care." His hand was under the hoodie now, cupping you, fingers sliding through wet heat. "This mine?"
"Always."
He growled â actually growled â and ripped the hoodie over your head. The fabric tore somewhere. You gasped but he was already on you, mouth hot on your neck, hands hauling your legs around his waist. He pushed into you right there against the wall, no prep, no patience, just need.
"Should've asked," he panted, rutting into you hard enough to bruise. "Could've just fucking asked and I'd give you anything. Instead youâ" he cut off with a groan, gripping your ass, holding you open for deeper thrusts. "Drive me insane."
You came fast, clenching around him, nails digging into his shoulders. He followed with his teeth in your collarbone, slamming you against the wall one last time, groaning long and wrecked.
He didn't let you down. Just stayed there, breathing hard, pressing kisses to your jaw. "Hoodie's ruined," he muttered.
it was your fault in the first place for oversexualizing aizawa's hands and pitching the idea he record himself for you. his humble response was typical - "why would anyone want to see me jerking off," and you wanted to smack him on the head.
obviously he prefers to see your cute fingers and freshly painted nails struggle to fit around his girth instead of his own boring one. "i'm your girlfriend, dummy. of course i wanna see my man play with his dick." he isn't opposed to it, but a woman's genuine desire to watch a man masturbate is foreign to him.
the man he is, he aims to please. and anything his sweet freak girlfriend wants, she gets tenfold. he spends more time than he'd like to admit adjusting his phone for the best camera angles, staring too long at his fingers that you're so riled up about.
but fuck do they look amazing wrapped around his thick shaft, thumb solely rubbing precum all over the fat head that flows in an endless stream. those heavy balls rest in the palm of his other hand, aching for release and tightening with even the most gentle squeeze.
turn the brightness up just a notch to see how wet and slick his cock gets, which he's self admittedly "shy" about due to how much lube he drenches himself in (that could never compare to your pussy). make sure that volume is all the way up from start to finish! he knows it's always a treat for you to hear the raspiness in his voice that deepens right before his climax.
flashforward to when he's panting, chest heaving from the release and abs covered in a tremendous amount of fresh cum and sweat.
[1 Video] you're not gonna get off to this, are you?
Todoroki Shouto and his penchant to crawl under your skin, literally and figuratively.
He hovered behind you, close enough that his toes grazed the back of your ankle everytime you moved, warmth radiating off his chest seeped into your back with how little distance was there between your bodies.
Normally, you didn't mind it.
But, this definitely is a hazard now.
"Shou..." You mumbled reluctantly, lowering the heat on the stove and placing the wooden spoon on the plate, turning around, albeit with difficulty because he still stood grounded, "I think you should wait by the table for dinner."
You nodded towards the small dining table, eyes lingering on his chest because if you looked up, you'd see the betrayal on his pretty face, sweet nose scrunched up, soft, rosy lips pouted, cheeks all puffy as he huffed in distress.
"But, we are lovers...." He argued, voice heavy with grief, poor Shouto, he stepped back, hands reaching for your wrists to pull you closer, "Lovers stick together."
One hand travelled up, palm cradling your jaw, gently, so gently, nudging it up, heterochromic eyes waiting to meet yours.
And meet did they.
"There we go." He sighed, leaning forward to rub the tip of his nose against yours, unaware of the way your heart squeezed in your chest, unaware of the sudden urge in your being to smother him with kisses, "if I bother you so muâ"
"Shouto never!" You leaned into his palm, dinner and kitchen safety pushed to the back of your mind, rules be damned, "I was jusâI didn't want you to get hurt in the kitchen."
He hummed, the hand cradling your jaw, curling to grasp the back of your neck, tilting your face up, his lips hovering just above yours.
A shaky breath escaped your lips, eyes fluttering shut as you leaned in, meeting his lips halfway through, hands venturing from his sides you his chest before finding purchase on his shoulders.
You melt in his arms, body completely lax in his embrace, so light headed that you feel like you'll float away if he let you go.
Shouto pulled away, albeit reluctantly, forehead resting against yours, fingers gripping the fabric of your shirt, "I want to get inside of you." He sighed dreamily.
Your eyes widened at his confession, staring up at him as you tried to decipher what he meant, "You can't say it so shamelessly, Shou." You mumbled, leaning forward, hiding your face into the crook of his neck, plethora of giggles escaping past your lips.
Shouto grinned, kissing the top of your head, belly all warm and fuzzy, "Hey, I didn't mean it like that." His fingers flexed around the back of your head, pushing you further into his chest, "but it is one way to get inâ"
Katsuki Bakugou looks like a vampire in the winter!
Dating Katsuki was a blessing. Youâd always said thatâ that heâd thrown himself into your relationship head-on and you thanked whoever was above for that every day. But, it was safe to say that you were extra thankful during the winter months.Â
Your blonde headed, explosive boyfriend was like a portable heater. No matter where you were, what time of day it was or what the weather was like, he always emitted heat. And it was glorious.Â
Youâd quite happily snuggle up to him when you were with friends at a bar, using him as a body-warmer to take the edge off the cold gliding in from the door. Or have him skin-to-skin with you when in bed, taking full advantage of his heat trapped under the duvet, making use of it as if you were a bun in an oven.
However, having spent enough time around him, youâd quickly noticed that he hardly recognized when he was actually cold. A perfect example of this was during the winter storm in Musutafuâ snow had piled around four inches thick, meaning it was a perfect time for two things: snowball fights, and snowman building.Â
To satisfy your craving for a wintery youth youâd dragged Katsuki into your yard without remorse, pulling him along and forcing him to roll balls of snow as large as he could get them, then you made him stack them on top of each other. Heâd obliged, muttering something about you being a âpiece of workâ to which youâd just rolled your eyes at him.
He was the one to initiate a snowball fight, unapologetically lobbing orbs of snow in your direction, causing the two of you to run in circles like a dog chasing its own tail. Unsurprisingly, it had ended with the blonde tackling you to the ground, rolling around together. The pair of you panted, agreeing to call it a day and head back inside.
But once you did so you noticed something.
âKats?â You called out softly as he turned the stove on, placing the kettle over it. âCome here for a second.â
He turned on his heel, raising an eyebrow as he shuffled your way. âWhatâs up? You need warming up?â he questioned. You shook your head, meeting him half way and resting your hands on his cheeksâ they were warm, but had this odd, pale hue to them, as if they were void of all blood.Â
His nose and ears, however, were bright red. You snickered a little, trying to hold back the inevitable laughter that would be sure to make him bratty. âAre you cold?â You asked, rubbing your thumbs over the apples of his face.Â
Katsuki hummed a quiet âno.â before raising his hand to your own, warmth seeping into your fingers. âWhy?âÂ
âYour cheeks have gone all pale.â You smiled. âYou look like a vampire.â You cackled, pulling his face toward your own to press a kiss to his nose. âAnd your nose is all red.â you whispered, teasing him slightly.Â
Katsuki tugged at your waist, squinting at you, you blushed at the sudden contact. âOh yeah? Not as red as youâre getting right now.â He replied, voice dropping an octave.Â
You pouted at him grumpily, moving your hands to rest behind his neck, you interlaced your fingers together, gazing into ruby red eyes. âI was just making an observation.âÂ
âMmm.â He hummed, dropping his head to press his lips against your own. âSure you were.â Katsuki rested his forehead against yours when he pulled away. âAnd, I donât look like a vampireââ
âYou do.â You giggled once again, being cut off by the whistling of the kettle before he could say anything. With a wink you watched him let go, shaking his head in affective frustration.Â
What a wimp, he totally looks like a vampire.

nanami is a man of physical habit, when you two are winding down on the couch after his long shiftâhis heavy, warm hand naturally finds a home on your thigh. the first time it happens, heâs just reading the paper, but he feels the immediate, rigid tension in your muscles.
he casually glances over, assuming youâre just caught off guard or feeling a bit shy. "are you cold?" he asks, his deep voice slicing through the quiet room. when you quickly shake your head, he simply pats your knee and shrugs it off, returning to his reading, though his observant mind notes the slight tremor in your frame.
nanami who starts getting genuinely suspicious after the third or fourth time. it doesn't matter if his touch is a passive weight or a gentle, absentminded caress through your sweatpantsâyour breath hitches every single time. he notices the way your toes curl, the subtle shiver that runs up your spine, and the way you try to casually shift away from his reach.
nanami is nothing if not analytical; he knows compliance versus involuntary reaction, and you are definitely hiding something. he begins to purposely linger his touch, tracing the seam of your pants just to watch your eyelashes flutter and your lips part in a silent gasp.
nanami decides to test his hypothesis on a rainy saturday afternoon. you're both cuddled up, your guard completely down as you watch a movie. without a word or a shift in his stoic expression, his large hand slides up your inner thigh and delivers a sudden, firm squeeze.
nanami watches you gasp, a high, completely involuntary sound escaping your throatâa sharp, needy little squeak that cuts off the moment you realize what you've done. "oh? and what exactly was that noise for?" your hands fly to grip his wrist, trying to pull his hand away, but he doesn't let go.
instead, a slow, incredibly rare, and distinctly smug smirk pulls at the corner of his lips. he looks down at you through his glasses, thoroughly amused by your bright red face. "i don't recall the movie being quite that exciting," he drawls, his fingers sinking deeper into the soft flesh.
nanami who is a little bit mean about it, but in the most intoxicating way possible. he deliberately applies just a fraction more pressure, kneading the sensitive muscle with his broad palm and watching you squirm helplessly against him. "i didn't realize a simple touch could reduce you to this," he murmurs, his voice dropping an octave, thick with a gravelly warmth that tells you he finds this incredibly hot.
he teases you relentlessly, leaning down so his lips brush your burning ear. "look at me. tell me why you're trembling so much just from my hand. if you don't answer, i'll just have to keep squeezing until you do." he refuses to let you look away until you confess just how sensitive your thighs actually are.
nanami who likes to abuse this newfound knowledge at every single opportunity, especially when he wants to fluster you in public. if you're out at a quiet restaurant, his hand will slide under the tablecloth, his fingers mapping out the soft skin of your thighs.
he loves watching you try to maintain a straight face while ordering food, your fingers white-knuckling the menu because he's lightly scratching the apex of your thigh. when you catch his eye, pleading with him silently, he just takes a calm sip of his wine and whispers, "focus on the waiter, sweetheart. tell him what you want to eat."
nanami turns into an absolute menace behind closed doors. during sex, your thighs become his absolute favorite target. he likes to pin your legs wide apart, his heavy palms bruising your hips before sliding down to grip your thighs with enough force to leave faint, temporary marks.
he loves to deeply knead the ultra-sensitive skin right where your leg meets your hip, watching your back arch off the bed as you let out a ragged sob. "look at how flushed you get here," he grunts, his thumb pressing firmly into the sweet spot, relishing the way your thighs clamp around his waist in a desperate bid for relief.
nanami who pairs his heavy-handed groping with sensory overload. while heâs driving himself into you, heâll lean down to bite and press open-mouthed kisses against your inner thighs, deliberately targeting the spots that make your hips stutter-step and bring a sob to your throat.
he loves the contrast of his rough, calloused hands soothing over the ultra-sensitive skin, murmuring praises against your neck while ensuring you can't think about anything else but his touch.
he'll deliberately slow his pace just to focus entirely on your thighs, sinking his teeth into the soft skin until you're completely undone. "good girl," he rumbles against your skin, "let me hear you make that sound again."
dragonlord!katsuki drops to his knees when he sees you standing amidst the flames of the first time. wreathed in fire, you stand on the edge of the temple steps, the great wooden hut ablaze behind you, your body darkened against the holy glow. katsuki sinks to his knees, the dirt crunching under him, as his heart begins to race.
there you stand, soot covered skin, blood caked hair, naked as the day you were born, and katsuki cannot look away. he had heard tales from his grandmother, a premonition given to her by the gods, that his future wife and queen would be born of fire and blood. that she would come with ashen hair and bloodied hands, that she would be the one to bring him to heel. young katsuki has laughed if off, had told his grandmother she was crazy, that the gods donât prophesies such things and yet, some twenty odd years later, here he kneels before you.
his wife, long betrothed before either of you had been born, a woman he had once tolerated and now come to care for, perhaps even love, standing before him in a vision that could have only been orchestrated by the gods.
i am powering through my rewatch of game of thrones and seeing dany standing on the steps of temple in vaes dothrak- anyway hereâs this (i really like dragon lord bakugou)
summary: you and katsuki bakugĆ are friends, nothing more, nothing less...right? everyone seems to realize the truth except you two. and when a late-night of spiraling thoughts leads katsuki down a realization he's tried to suppress, he reacts in his typical behavior. but, the one feeling the hurt isn't youâit's him. because you're the angelic you, and he's a mess of pride and wounds that he doesn't know if he can ever fix.
content warnings: 4k+ w/c, fluff, angst; bakugĆ is so bad with feelings; third-year bakugĆ & classmates; talks about anxiety, panic attacks, implicit ptsd; reader wears glasses and is an implied geek
part two (draft)
âWeâre not dating.â Thatâs what you both said whenever people asked if you and Katsuki BakugĆ were together. You two would share a look with each other, and then you would burst out laughing and he snapped at the asker for inquiring such a ridiculous question. The best part was the way you two ended the conversation, like you two knew exactly what you were doing just to vex others: heâd either wrap an arm around your shoulder or youâd wrap your arm around his and walk away like it was just another day.
It always just another day.
To on-lookers passing by, you both had this fluid dynamic eluding to something romantic; Katsuki would be caught carrying your backpack for you, and you would be caught carrying two trays in the cafeteria when he was in the restroomâhis lunch exactly what he wanted without question. To class 3-A, they stopped being perplexed over it a long time ago. And to the fans that had accumulated since your heroics in the final war against the League of Villains, rumors sparked no matter how much U.A. and the Hero Commission attempted to keep the lives of U.A. students private and protected.
It wasnât even a matter of dancing around each otherâs feelings because in your heads, there were no feelings. You didnât even call each other âbest friend;â that spot for Katsuki had long been reserved by EijirĆ Kirishima, and for you, it was Ochaco Uraraka. In fact, nobody quite knew exactly when you two befriended each other, and how such an explosive boy managed to stick around someone as graceful as you. The origin of your friendship was a well-kept secret, an unspoken agreement between the two of you, mostly for Katsuki's personal sanity and privacy.
It had all started one night, a few weeks after he had been kidnapped, saved, and then the students of U.A. were promptly placed in dorms. You were restlessâhomesickâhours and hours away from your family to the point where trying to visit on the weekends was nearly pointless. You had gone down to the main floor to soothe yourself with a glass of water in the middle of the night. And then, Katsuki suddenly emerged from the shadows, grumpy and slightly bruised from an incident he wouldnât name a few days before, though it had been troublesome enough that both him and Izuku Midoriya had house arrest.
Your eyes had fluttered with your first thought being that you were hallucinating the presence of your loudest classmate since he always disappeared after dinner to sleep early. And, he was staring at you as though you were a variable he didn't calculate or was even able to compute for his late-night journey. So, you both had just stared at each other in silence for a few moments. Your glasses were perched atop your head, eyes rimmed pink and dressed in silly pajamas Minoru Mineta would have made fun of. Katsuki's blonde hair was a mess, carmine eyes bleary like he still hadnât fully woken up, and he wore the nastiest expression known to mankindâthankfully, you were observant enough in prior times to know his face was simply like that.
You had stepped aside, putting easy distance between you two, as if reading his mind so he could reach the cabinet full of cups. He grunted like that was meant to be gratitude and annoyance combined, scouring the cupboard before filling his glass. It felt awkward to stay while it felt equally awkward to leave, stuck idling against a counter, sipping at your water. You had slipped your glasses back onto your face to give yourself something to do.
Katsuki, however, had done something you had never expected him to do that night. He had asked you why you were crying (in his own unique way: âwhat are you even crying for?â). After an an answer stuttered out in surprise and embarrassment, you had asked him if he had been sleeping well since he was rescued (he didnât like that last word at all). Even more shocking, he had given an honest answerâthe answer that was obvious to everyone but no one pointed out for his ego had been bruised over and over again since attending the hero-training school. The conversation was staggered after that, unsure of what to say but the silence between you two was shockingly comfortable. You didn't push like some of your other classmates, but you weren't afraid to talk to him; he didn't know what to do with that at first.
You had even offered to wash his empty cup afterwards.
After that, the rest was history between you two. You never talked about that night again though it changed your life, and his, in a way. You found him everywhere you were, and vice versa. He sat next to you at lunch when his own usual group was too loud. You asked him for training tips that led to actual afterschool sparring. He saved you from Neito Monoma's long speech about Class Bâs superiority when you were cornered in the hallway once. And you saved him when a fellow student and fangirl tried to hit on him; actually, you saved everyone from a explosive tantrum that day.
And now, almost three years have gone by. Studying together across the library had turned into cuddling on the communal couch while watching television. Practice matches had turned into spending time with each other outside of school. And, lunches side-by-side in the cafeteria turned into him sleeping over in your dorm room when the day had exhausted him too much to go home.
Yeah, everyone was sick and tired of you two. It wasnât PDA. It wasnât flirting. It wasnât even jealousy of seeing each other with other people. You two flowed together so naturally that it pained everyone to imagine the day it would all mean nothingâthe day of graduation. It was a day you both were thinking about with excitement, not a day thought of of in losing each other. The possibility didn't even cross your minds.
Somehow your dorm room had come to be dominated by Katsuki's things. His fresh laundry sat in a pile by his duffel bag, waiting to be folded. One of his hoodies was carelessly perched over your desk chair. And he had his skincare sat on your vanity. You didnât realize when you started making space for him; he didnât force his way inâyou didnât invite him either. And yet, somehow he was the one on your bed, huddled under a blanket that had Levi Ackermanâs face plastered on it, reading a romance manga. And, you were finishing the calculus homework Ectoplasm had assigned to the class, punching digits at your calculator and scribbling away at your paper.
You yawned ungracefully, glasses slipping down your nose. it wasnât even eight oâclock yet, but between half-a-dayâs training and volunteering to do a student-teaching for a first-year class with Yaomomo, you felt like you had lived a thousand lifetimes with no slumber. You squeezed your eyes shut, shaking your head to be more alert. Regardless, there was the press of another yawn at your lips.
âJust come to bed, you idiot,â a familiar, gruff voice called out. He sounded ticked. You knew he was just concerned.
You didnât spare Katsuki a glance, erasing your failed attempt at a particularly frustrating question. âCanât yet," your voice cracked slightly from a lack of speaking for the past hour or so, âThis is due tomorrow. iâm almost done. Plus, youâre in my bed anywââ
The bed creaked. You turned your head at the sound, but you didnât even have time to move away before your chair was being hauled back a few inches. Mechanical pencil dropping on your table in startle, you watched the distance grow between you and your desk before the world spun to the side. And, you were facing Katsuki.
His hands were on your arms as you sputtered out his name in protest, tugging you out of the chair. You whined, as childish as it sounded, growing irritated with your helplessness against his unwarranted actions. The only real acknowledgement he gave to your annoyance was shoving you along to the bed till you flopped forward, cheek landing right on Leviâs wrinkled, velvety face; you groaned, voice muffled into the blankets. âYou meathead! I have to finish the homework.â
You yawned again anyways.
The mattress was quite soft.
Your glasses were already slipping off.
Who knew a bed could be this tempting?
âIâll help you tomorrow,â he spat out, tossing your purposely limp legs onto the mattress all the way. You made an annoyed noise between pressed lips as he yanked the sheets out from under you, only to smooth them over your body. âWe still have three periods before calculus tomorrow.â
âWhereâs the scolding?â You murmured, barely paying attention to his words now. You cozied under the blankets, curling into yourself more as you lazily handed your glasses off to Katsuki. âTheââYour dumb ass should have already done it earlier!ââ
Your mimicry at his voice was a poor, lazy attempt, going two octaves higher instead of acquiring his lower register. Still, the message came across when he gently hit you on the forehead with one hand, setting your folded glasses on the nightstand with the other. All you did was scrunch your face before relaxing into a peaceful, drowsy expression as your eyes closed. Katsuki's walked around your dorm room to shut the lights off, his futon neatly laid on the floor as he stepped around it.
No scolding came.
"You worked hard today,â was all he said, biting the words out as if they were agonizing him to say. Compliments from Katsuki were rare, but not as rare as they used to be. âThose dumb freshies have no idea whatâs in store for them.â
You didnât tease him for it, gratefully accepting it. âThank you,â you yawned again. âYou too. And, donât be mean.â
Soon, the lamp on your nightstand was the only light on, bathing a dimly golden glow across the room; the furniture and decorations were cast in shadows. Katsuki huffed a laugh in response, or maybe it was an annoyed scoffâeither way it was one of the softer sounds he only let out once in a blue moon. âScoot,â he grumbled out, and you obeyed. He lifted the sheets, sliding under them instead of lying down on his futon.
Eight oâclock was approaching soon, but not yet.
He plucked the romance manga off the Levi blanket as you rolled into his side. Your face was pressed into his waist, foot brushing against his as you carelessly tossed an arm over him. A wave of warmth permeated from his body into yours thanks to his quirk putting him at a slightly higher body heat than average. You snuggled closer without thinking much of it like it was first instinct, and he reacted accordingly. Katsuki wrapped one arm around you, settling the manga in his lap as he adjusted into a comfortable position.
Quiet settled into the atmosphere as if it had always belonged there. Nothing except the occasional groan of the mattress, deep breaths, and paper turning filled the air. It was soothing in that wayâknowing there was life near you and feeling safe enough to lose consciousness around it. That idea, the warmth, and the exhaustion lulled you into a light doze, your body waiting to fall into itâs natural rhythm of deep slumber. It was akin to lucid dreaming in some aspectsâthe brush of his arm over your hair when he needed to turn the page, the feeling of his stomach expanding and contracting against your forehead with his every breath, the faint scent of his body wash swarmed the air as you inhaled and exhaled.
All you were aware of was Katsuki.
And, sleep.
But, it wasnât romantic, right?
EijirĆ often wondered how his best friend could consume so much from the romance genre and yet have not a clue about his own affairs. Tsuyu Asui said you two were dense. Denki Kaminari said it was hidden feelings. Speculation had been circulating gossip for a long time. The truth was simple to you both: you existed in something unspoken, accepting in the moment and accepting of the fact it may not exist one day. The idea of being okay with losing each other was overshadowed by an impending, unavoidable reality of the lives you two were working to build as pro-heroes. Vulnerability made for easy bonding.
When eight oâclock did tick onto the display of your analog clock, Katsuki promptly put the manga down. He shut the lamp off, the click of the switch echoing as the room plunged into darkness. He glanced down at his futon, the blanket half-open and cold as it waited for him. He blinked, not quite thinking coherently due to exhaustion but enough that he was aware of the odd twitch tugging in his chest. Running a hand through his buttermilk locks, his weary, scarlet gaze drifted to you: barely awake, arm still tossed over him, still snuggled into his side.
Truly the bed wasnât big enough for two people. Except, itâs not like you guys hadnât cuddled to sleep before but that was usually when he had nightmares haunting himâdreams he didnât talk about. But, he should probably ask if it was okay first. Then again, you both did agree you didnât need permission for most things around each other. Though, surely itâd still be strange if he didnât do the gentlemanly thing and attempt to move to the futon; it might be entertaining if you were to beg him to stay in your bedâcute, even.
Wait a minute.
Cute?
Embarrassing self-awareness suddenly hit Katsuki as he snapped out of his thoughts, irritated with himself as he pondered why he even debated cuddling with you or not. You made the futon for him. You both expected him to sleep in it. He shouldnât be wasting precious minutes he could be sleeping for some worthless inquiry that seemed to make his heart skip a beat and his head spin toward thought processes that meant nothing in the end. You were cute; that was fact to everyone, including him. But, that didn't mean he thought it in the latening hours of the night, or that he thought it when it was just you two being domestic together. He definitely didn't think you looked cute in his sweatshirts or when you beamed after wasting money on another keychain when you guys hung out beyond school. He rubbed at the tips of his ears, feeling the cartilage bend softly under the pads of his fingers, as he wondered why he felt warmer than usual.
"Mm,â you moaned softly, shifting away from Katsuki slightly as you stared up at him bleary-eyed, voice hoarse, âWhy are you still awake? Itâs been like five minutes since you turned the lamp off which means itâs also past eight.â
The sight of your drowsy figure, sheets clinging to you for life as they slipped, eyes glinting in the darknessâit gave him that same feeling in his heart that his quirk did in his palms. That internal pressure that needed be released, pressing against his chest cavity, under his skin. It sent a flash of heat through him, familiar in feeling but foreign in cause that made Katsukiâwellâexplode.
A normal person would have just called it 'cuteness aggression.'
Katsuki had no idea what that was. And so, with no clue how to navigate this overwhelming urge in him, he did the only thing he was good at: he lost his composure.
âShut up, crybaby!â He snapped.
You both flinched at his outburst, distance widening between you both, regret filling one and confusion filling the other. Suddenly, you were rapidly blinking away the sleepiness in your eyes. You werenât hurtânot by the usual nickname nor by his tone. You were used to the attitude, biting back when you felt like it, though you normally shut him down quick by not reacting at all to his tantrums. This unexpected change in mood, however, left you speechless, ruminating what could have possibly angered him in a matter of minutes. Little did you know, when Katsuki saw you flinch, panic seized his heart, frustrated with his own impulsesâit froze him down to the soul, no longer trusting his own mind and unable to correct himself.
How could he apologize or assure you when he couldn't even forgive himself over things that happened years ago? When he couldn't even trust himself? How could he ask you to have faith in him? How could he ask anyone to have faith in him? And, the only person that had ever backed him into a corner like a wild dog was himself.
âIââ You let out a breath, shifting onto one elbow. âAlright. alright, I donât know what youâre problem is, but are youâŠokay?â
There was a hesitance to your tone that made Katsuki's fists curl into the fabric of his sleep shirt, face twisting away. His glaring gaze met the sight of a poster on thr wall of some K-pop band he always dragged on whenever you gushed about them, countering your praise for them with praise about himself; he nearly singed the vibrant paper off the plaster just to relieve some of the violent impulse building in him. He could only blame so much of his instinctive anger on his quirk. He spent most of his life being full of rage and pride that he could no longer name the reasons why.
He wondered why it felt like climbing a mountain to admit honesty; he had been improving since the beginning of his journey at U.A. Yet, the truth still clung to his ribcage like sticky residue that he always failed to scrap off his bones. And that metaphorical residue would claw up his throat, making it hard to speak or breath. Was it a panic attack? Was it an anxiety attack? Was he truly so inferior to be vulnerable like a normal human? Katsuki wanted to scream and vomit at the same time; words sat like lead on his tongue, pressing against the back of his teeth like sugar had been building up for years, leaving a foul aftertaste.
âi said, shut the hell up! And, leave me alone!â He knew he could help itâhe was better than thisâhe was always better than this, and he had been trying. He had been trying since he was kidnapped. He had been trying when he fought Izuku that night, almost three years agoâa few nights before you both tacitly decided to be each other's person. And, he had been trying since the final war.
He never stopped trying.
Mistakes were still made.
It was moments like these when the scars turned back into wounds he could feel. He almost wished they were wounds just to blame his irritable state on something tangible. Heâd rather bleed in this hurt than hurt in some place he couldnât reach at all.
You stared at him for a long moment, not quite sure how to feel yet; even in the darkness, you could still see him. And, your eyes caught onto the scar on his right cheek, jagged and angry-looking just like him. And then, they trailed down to his right arm, the spiky spirals still apparent in the sliver of moonlight that dared to shine through the crack of your floral curtains. He noticed. It only made his body turn away from you more, making your head whip back up to stare at his hiding face. It didnât take a genius to know he was trying to hide himself. You had learned him over the years; he was like a catâhe came to you when he wanted, let you pet him when he felt safe, and would hiss when he felt trapped.
A conversation was waiting to happen. You knew it. He didn't want it. But, it was a conversation you wouldnât force, knowing it would only drive him away. You were exhausted more than anything anwyays, simply wanting to drift off into slumber again. Your arms strained under your weight, elbow indenting into the mattress as you debated on whether or not to match his energy or let it go altogether. Confrontation wasnât your strong suit in the same way being vulnerable wasnât his, except you had no idea what prompted his angry behavior. And, Katsuki refused to look in your direction, irritating you with an urge to yank his face back towards you and make him stare into your eyes.
instead, you just deflated back onto the mattress.
âFine,â you sighed out, squashing your own exasperation in favor for a peaceful sleep; you didn't have to be the one to go to bed angry. You flipped onto your other side, back facing him, shimmying as close as you could to the wall. You wouldn't push him off the bed if thatâs where he wanted to sleep, but you also werenât inviting him to stay. âIâm going to bed now. Night, Sparkles.â
The nickname slipped out without a second thought.
He didnât say anything immediately, letting the ugly mix of frustration with himself and disappointment that you didn't push him to talk settling like boulders in his stomach. Silence engulfed the room as though nobody even lived in it. He didnât move off the bed for a long while, weight pressing down at the edge as you both remained quietly and anxiously unaware of the othersâ thoughts. It was eating away at him as much as it was eating away at you. His typical response would have been to explode with rage, but the more he sat there, thinking about this funny feeling in his chest, the more uncertain he became.
"Tch, whatever,â he muttered under his breath. And yet, his fingers ached from how tightly his hold on his shirt was, and his neck strained with stubbornness and self-preservation. Because, deep down, Katsuki knew if he looked at you, he was no longer was sure what reaction would evoke out of him at the mere sight of you. And, he was starting to worry deeply about the possibility that one of his impulses would be to kiss you.
Thatâs never happened before.
And, it would never happen.
It just had to be the late night.
Even if it was only a quarter past eight oâclock.
Katsuki knew he needed to stop thinking. You had truly fallen into your sleep cycle by the time he lifted off the mattress; sleeping in the same bed as you was starting to seem like the worst idea in the world. And so, he crawled into the futon you had purchased specifically for him, making himself as comfortable as he could. Faced with the ceiling, he felt like he was being swallowed by a marshmallow which should at least put his mind at ease enough for the darkness and the idea of nighttime to lull him to sleep.
His body worked as stubbornly as his mind. His eyes ached to stay awake as though his eyelids were being physically pulled apart by the sheer strength of his own tumultuous thoughts. As the minutes dragged on, he became a restless creature of the night, refusing to look at his phone or squirm under the blanket with stored, trapped energy. Katsuki told himself this was discipline, that the thoughts would dissipate and be forgotten by tomorrow, that you two would make up in the span of seconds and be friends again. He told himself that he was just getting into his own head.
After all, you two wereâŠwell, he wasnât even sure. He never considered you a true best friend, though that would be the effortless label. He hadnât considered you a lover eitherânot by a long shot. And, he knew you didnât either. All he knew was that you were his, and he was yours; that was as simple as a dynamic could get, right? Nobody else could have you the way he did, and nobody else could have him the way you did. For some reason, before he let himself realize there was no label for what you two shared, he whipped around in the futon, hands splaying on the mattress. He saw the pillow clearly for a split second, before slamming his forehead down on it; he winced, nose and head aching with a dull, sharp sting. And then, he deflated just as you had earlier, letting himself suffocate for a minute if that meant his brain would numb the internal loudness he could never get rid of. That surely cleared his head, reset his thoughts.
Yeah, you two were just friends.
Friends who held hands sometimes. Friends who cuddled sometimes. Friends who fought off flirters for the other sometimes. Friends. Friends. Friends. Friends.
And by the time you would wake up tomorrow, the warmth of Katsuki in your bed would be long gone. Because, he was never meant to stay. And, you were never meant to think anything of it. He would eventually fall asleep to that notion, equivalent to counting sheepâholding on to the very realistic and rational idea that, tomorrow, things would be normal again.
Not that you thought things were abnormal.
Yeah, Katsuki was just stuck in his head.
author's note: this was supposed to be fluff and a one-shot. iâm not really sure what happened, butâuhâi guess iâm going to write a part 2 to this. this also was not the story i wanted to come back with, but then i started writing multiple simultaneously and inspiration made me finish this first. soâŠyay, i suppose. i listened to you get me so high by the neighborhood after i wrote this and realized how fitting it was which is where the title came from. additionally, this ended up being a slight character analysis of katsuki when it wasn't supposed to be. fuh, idk why this is so nerve-wracking when i posted on here before.
