Never in a million years

As I lay in this hall making sure she’s okay, waiting to hear the tears stop. Hoping that she’ll fall asleep and get at least a little rest before facing tomorrow. I realize that Never in a million years, would I want to be a teenager again. It’s hard sometimes, to accept that all I can do is love her through it. That all I can do is give her a hug, kiss her on the forehead, and tell her it will be okay. That even though I understand, I have to accept that she doesn’t think I do.

If you’re a teenager who happens to follow this blog (which you shouldn’t be) please do me a favor and don’t be an asshole to those around you. And if you’re teenager who follows this blog (which you shouldn’t be) and you happen to be the victim of asshole teens; know THAT YOU ARE LOVED, THAT YOU ARE PERFECT JUST THE WAY YOU ARE, AND THAT YOUR HAPPINESS IS NOT CONTINGENT ON ANYONE. These dicks won’t matter in a few years anyway.
