Dear god, I donât know if Iâve ever used the word âinsufferable,â when describing a documentary, but thatâs exactly what these women are. I shouldâve known when the one started crying, before they even started, because her backpack was so heavy.Â
Iâm not sure what the point of this is. Showing how petite white women get fed chicken and water, when caught by the copys/security/border patrol? Oh, the trailer says to âlearn about the people, places, and water.âÂ
Thereâs one crusty dude who does talk about the placeâŠafter 30 minutes in I skipped to 1:09 - itâs definitely beautiful scenery. Skipped to 1:16âŠby walking into a lake she sees how itâs all connected.Â
Into the Whine (get it? like, Into the Wild, but with this person). On their site they tag #girlswhohike. I wish theyâd put that girl in this documentary. I wish theyâd made this more watchable, because when it is talking about the message (how we abuse the water resources available) it is pertinent, mildly interesting, but definitely has a message that needs to be shared.
I feel like the thumbnail for the video tells you everything you need to know, about whether youâll like this or not.
If you REALLY want to get angry about how humans are horrible vis a vis water, watch Tapped.Â
