Resulting in several very confusing attempts to explain this to the other members of the Rebellion.

Zeb Headcanons:

He sleeps like 14 hours a night + naps quite often

He sometimes subconsciously purrs when he’s happy

Likes to sunbathe

Sheds literally everywhere

Basically a big cat

Seems grumpy, is actually a really big softy

Zeb hugs=best hugs

Scared after a nightmare? You get a Zeb hug.

Injured and in pain after a mission? You get a Zeb hug.

Generally upset about your family? You get a Zeb hug.

Has slipped up several times and called Hera ‘Mom’ (who hasn’t at this point)

Tells the best stories.

Also plays the best games and gives the best rides.

Shoulder ride? Sure thing.

Piggyback ride? You got it.

Being literally held upside down and swung around by your ankles? Maybe ask Hera first why not

Warm 24/7 y’know, like a cat

Literally so comfortable to sleep on (you ever fallen asleep while cuddling against a cat? Imagine that but like x1000)

He gave up swinging Ezra around by his ankles, because Ezra grew more than Zeb realised and he accidentally smashed Ezra’s head into a door frame.

I have a headcanon that lasat can seal their nostrils to protect them from sandstorms. Zeb used to make money for the Ghost crew by challenging bar patrons to breath-holding contests until everyone wised up.

Great dancer by lasat standards. By human standards he looks like a panicky chicken.

He loves that space rock music, but he also has a guilty pleasure for space girly pop. Even if you find out, he’ll never admit it. It’s DESIGNED to be catchy, that doesn’t mean he’s ENJOYING it.
