J2′s first rule of Supernatural is don’t talk about Supernatural lol. They talk about getting a Do Not Reveal list before Comic Con, now they just get told to shut up about the plots.
J2 are asked to give a plot for fan’s writing class. They say they’re not writers! They tell the fan to write it and they will turn it into a script.
A fan thanks Jared for the AKF campaign and thanks Jensen for supporting Jared. Jensen: That’s what family does.
Why no bromances for Sam but Dean cornered the market? Jensen: It’s ‘cause Dean’s a whore.
Jared: Sam gets a friend this year.
Fan asks how many Impalas are used. They say many: some are full cars, some partial builts (like no roof), some stunt cars…They had to make an insert car for the Baby episode. Six total Impalas in Baby ep but only three working.
The Baby ep is jam packed with Sam and Dean.
Any scenes that are emotionally grueling scenes? J2: Many grueling days. There are days when Jared gets lost in Sam, like in Sacrifice, Croatoan, and Heart. Jensen says where Dean tells Sam about hell, how he had to walk off the emotions.
J2 talk about the barn showdown in S4. A demon bad guy was snoring while playing dead. J2 were having to hide their faces.
Jensen got very emotional playing the scene when he was sitting next to dead Sam. Jensen told Kim Manners he didn’t know how many takes he could do. They ended up doing two.
What stopped Dean with Mark of Cain from killing Cas? J2: Misha has a contract and we wouldn’t be able to take a day off lol.
J2 do a Dean Cain joke lol.
Jared says it’s hard to play dead when camera is doing a close up. Jensen says it’s hard to hold breath and not make closed eyes move.
Jared finds it harder to do lighter comedy Sam stuff because Sam is more serious. Says Sam is an ethereal type of character. Not hard for them to play emotions. Talks about how crying is easier because the actor is physically feeling it along with the character.
Jensen finds it easier to do comedic episodes. Talks about how Richard just directed and did well. Jensen enjoys acting in comedic eps.
Fan made a joke about the Harvelle roadhouse getting burned down and Sam and Dean comment, “No Ash.” Jensen says on set they say, “No joke too cheap.”
Any continuity/plot holes they want to fix? Jensen: Leviathans. Though, he appreciated the Dick jokes and good eps in the season.
Jared asks fan what plot holes they would fix? Fan: Adam. Jensen: AHHHH! Adam!
The subject of Adam does get brought up in an upcoming episode.
Would they use iron rings to fight ghosts? Jared: Oooh! We’d be like Criss Angel!
They joke about S11 having exploding salt vests and bungee weapons.
