That’s weird. And the added post-wake up exhaustion doesn’t help either. What the hell is going on with him now.-

-A few more blinks at relatively nothing before looking over at Adi and offering them a few pats, unsure on whether or not they took the chance to sleep (whatever that means for them) or not as well.

Mm.-

[It nudges into the pats, one golden eye opening. Seems it wasn't asleep now, at least.]

REST WELL?

-He blinks at them, taking a moment to turn the question over in his mind- a simple one, yes, but one he isn’t used to answering at all..-

“Devoid ripped of discarded whilst phobic imagery, so.. green light, sideways?”

-He shrugs a little, gently patting their head some more.-

“Of your own?”

I RESTED WELL.

-A small nod, though he doesn’t want to pry any more as of now- mostly because it wouldn’t get the two of them anywhere, with where they’re at now.-

“Sunlight minimally..”

-He supposes he has to actually sit up properly soon. The normal course of action would be to consume something after he’s just woken, but-

His eyes close with a semi-annoyed sigh, sitting up a bit and beginning to try and feel around for wherever his staff has up and wandered off to.-

“Has the void witnessed heavens glass in the previous?”

I HAVE NOT, THOUGH I CAN CONFIRM SHE'S ALIVE SINCE I HAVE NOT BEEN ALERTED OTHERWISE BY THE TRACE I HAVE LEFT WITH HER.

“Mm. Greenlight.”

-After finding the staff, he momentarily drops it due to still not being used to being able to- well, feel (even with the gloves, which feel odd in and of) before picking it up again.-

“Witnessed less of glass in the year singular or plural, mostly with half of purple? And negative resurfacing of Cherophobia ditto?”

YES, THOSE TWO ARE USUALLY TOGETHER, AND CHERO IS STILL WITH WOLK.

-A nod, now going to sit up a bit more and blinking some things away before turning to Adi. Now that his staff was properly in his hand, he could try moving his magic again..-

*”I’d rather talk to the two of them first than Cherophobia, anyways. Specifically Leia- I’ve been putting off a conversation with her for ages now, and seeing.. recent discoveries, it’d be idiotic to put it off any longer.”

-He sighs, slightly pinching the bridge of his nose. This may be daunting.-

*”Would you want to listen in on such? It will probably be useless information for you- you can simply hide in my shadow for a bit if that’s preferred.”

-Xaviero nods, going to lightly nudge Adi enough with his hand that he is able to stand up properly, takijg a very small moment to stretch.-

*”Whatever is comfortable for you. Are you able to at least get a general sense of where either of them are? Normally I would be able to locate at least Sakura, but I’m trying to limit my magic usage for now.”

OH, YES. THEY'RE OVER THERE.

[It nods towards its left, then slips into his shadow like it's melting.]

NOT TOO FAR, EITHER, RELEVANT TO WHERE THEY USUALLY WANDER.

-He nods, having to physically stop himself from simply teleporting over because it would literally contradict his last statement, now beginning to walk over instead.-

*”If they ask where you are, would you want me to tell them you’re there or no?”

YOU CAN ACT LIKE I'M NOT EVEN HERE.

[Otherwise, what would be the point of it hiding in his shadow instead of walking with him?]

-Another nod with a hum tagged along. Though the “task” they gave him is quite literally impossible for him, their presence will most likely be just put to the back of his mind whenever it decides to be.

Within a short amount of time (but longer than if he had just used his magic), he eventually spots a bright white that he can only assume is one of Leia’s wings, and he is ultimately proven correct when she calls out to him first once he’s within her view-

“Xaviero! Hi! Everything okay?”

*”Things are fine, thank you. Where’s Sakura? I thought you two are always together.”

“Napping in nearby shadows, I think? They’ve been sleeping in a lot more often lately, don’t usually wake up until little after midday.” -She shrugs, one wing flicking off in dismissal.- “So, what’s up? You don’t usually come to talk to me unless- well, not unless, you don’t.”

*”…just wanted to answer an old question of yours, if it is not too late.”

[Adi minimizes their presence, sending a bot more of themself towards Sakura st the mention of them sleeping more... just to check.]

-Leia seems to slightly perk up at this, blinking before smiling.-

“Oh, don’t worry, it’s never too late! Which, uh- question of mine would you be answering? I know I threw a good handful at you when things first settled down-“

*”You told me you were concerned about where my magic is sourced from, correct? Or of similar lines?”

“Maaaaybe- yes, probably!” -Another little twitch of the wing.- “You always seem to have a lot of it- or are using a lot of it, at least. And seeing as you know who is gone.. yeah.”

-Seeing as Leia casts no shadow of her own, it makes sense that Sakura is found in the one closest to her- a nearby plant that has a large leaf, the kid napping in the shadow below. Though, they either noticed Leia has moved or noticed Adi’s presence, as they stir just the smallest bit.-

[The shadow keeps half its attention on Xaviero—it's also curious about the answer to that question—and the other half on Sakura, though it lowers its presence as much as it can in hopes to not disturb them.]

-Sakura seems to slightly shift before it is eventually felt that they’ve drifted off again.-

*”Rhea has nothing to do with the magic I have, surprisingly.” -Xaviero’s brow twitches the smallest bit at the mention, but continues on.- *”It actually sources from you. Or, if we want to pinpoint it down to specifics, Overlord power in general.”

-Leia’s expression momentarily shifts from surprise to a mix of confusion and worry, wings now a bit more squarely pressed to her sides.-

“..I don’t feel it, though.”

*”You’re not supposed to, and it’d be a point of concern if you did. The energy I’m taking from you is only a mere fraction of all of yours total, as that is what the Overlord that made me this way put in.” -He shrugs.- *”I have also taken a small bit of Rhea’s that I picked up off of Sakura, but that flows as my own since me and her are of same status. Were? Hm.”

[...would the shadow be able to share energy and power with him, it wonders?]

-Leia takes a moment to think, absentmindedly clasping her hands together for only a small moment.-

“I see then. What about Sakura and Chero then?”

*”I believe both of them are taking some from me, since I’m acting as a stand-in Rhea, but I think by now at least Cherophobia seems to just take from the world around him. Basically, I’m not sure.”

-He shrugs again.-

*”I’m only taking bit by bit of Rhea from Sakura at a time, because they’re noticeably weaker than the rest of us- but I’d rather have that connection severed from them, so that when- or, if- [——————-], I’ll deal with it instead.”

-Silence from both of them before Xaviero decides to speak again.-

*”Either way, we’re getting off-topic- I just wanted to let you know of that, since I’m going to be messing around with a couple of things, and you slash potentially Sakura may feel the shift, since it’ll take a lot of magic to both [————], when- if. If it happens, and to start trying to break up the Rhealm a bit more.”

[Oh, is that what's been happening? Would it be allowed to help? It has been worried about Sakura...]

“Okay- okay then. Thank you for telling me.”

-She gives him a smile- smaller than the ones from before, but still one nontheless. Xaviero nods.-

*”I apologize for the delay in direct answer, just some trust issues of mine. Do let me know when Sakura wakes, please? I do have to ask them- and Cherophobia- for permission before I actually do anything to the Rhealm. Just personal protocol.”

“Isn’t the Rhealm how they get to different universes, though-?”

*”I don’t know, which is why I have to ask. I have to know if the Rhealm isn’t a sacrificeable space and they actually need it. Though Adi can definitely bring us place to place when slash if this place apprently [explodes?], rather not put that much more responsibility on them, you know?”

[It just listens quietly, storing away the information it's hearing in case it becomes useful later.]

“Yeah, I get it- I feel like we’re putting too much on them as is by just being here.” -A sigh from her.- “In the literal sense, I mean. We are kind of responsible for a loooot of disruptions, I’m guessing.”

*”..yeah, agreed.” -He echoes her sigh.- *”Though, Adi is willingly helping you three, so don’t think that you are burdening them at all.”

-Her smile widens.-

“Aw, does that mean you’ve finally become friends with them? That only leaves Chero that you’re still having issues with.”

*”…I think I’d like to keep it that way, thank you.”

[...it's not just those three, though it's definitely not telling Xaviero that, since it will probably only upset him. And it is literally fine? It's not too much for them...]

-The two of them go back and forth in their other language for a bit until Leia ends up laughing, gently batting Xaviero with two of her wings.-

“Okay, okay, I’ll stop. I’m just kidding! Don’t want you any more mad at me than you are towards- well literally everyone.”

*”I- okay, no. I’m not starting this again.” -He rolls his eyes and taps his staff on the ground a few times.- *”I’ll see you around, then? And if he comes back to you first, let me know so I can prepare for that headache.”

“Pfft- will do then. I’ll see you!!”

-A little wave before she looks over to the shadow she left Sakura in, now heading back over to make sure they don’t sleep the whole day away again. Once she’s out of ear/wingshot, Xaviero sighs and rubs his forehead.-

*”Stars, she really is exactly like him..”

[Golden eyes appear in his shadow, blinking up at him.]

SHOULD I BE MORE WORRIED ABOUT SAKURA?

-Xaviero looks down at Adi, blinking for a moment before shaking his head.-

*”Not for now, no. Once they wake up we’ll be able to get a better verdict on them, so we will see. You doing okay?”

I AM AS WELL AS I WAS THE LAST WE SPOKE, YES.

[It crawls out of his shadow in its small cat form, tail swaying lazily.]

*”Good.”

-Xaviero reaches down a little to pat them on the head once more.-

*”Any other concerns with other things I said?”

[It hums a bit, tilting its head into the pats.]

LESS CONCERN AND MORE CURIOSITY. WHY DO YOU NEED TO BREAK UP THE RHEALM? AND, FOR SEVERING YOUR CONNECTION TO SAKURA AND SUCH, WOULD I BE ABLE TO ASSIST? AS A BEING PRIMARILY MADE UP OF ENERGY, I AM AN EXPERT WHEN IT COMES TO DIRECTING IT.

*”First one, for you. Second, I’m not sure. I’m only acting as a placeholder Rhea, and I have no idea if the power Sakura has been given specifically relies on her, or if it’s like Cherophobia’s and he just takes from everything and one.”

-A small smile visible for just a moment before it’s gone again, now turning over his arm for Adi to climb up if wanted.-

*”You can keep giving them energy if you have been, though.”

FOR ME?

[It does take the offer to climb up and curls around his shoulders.]

...I HAVE BEEN SINCE THE SCARE WITH THEIR CORE A YEAR AGO. JUST A BIT. I CAN CHANGE THE ENERGY SIGNATURE AS WELL TO BE MORE LIKE RHEA'S IF THAT IS NEEDED:

-He seems to detense a bit at them curling around his shoulders, now being careful as he shrugs.-

*”Yes, my original plan was to see if I can break up the Rhealm, check it over a bit in case there’s any toxic magic in there or of similar sorts, and see if it’s consumable for you. According to one of Cherophobia’s hour long rambles, it automatically adjusts its size to match whatever world it is hiding under.”

-He looks around, then begins taking some steps off in the direction he remembered having that conversation in.-

*”It is originally the size of Angelitria’s entire planet, I believe- it just squashes and stretches when necessary. Also, we will have to see about Sakura once they wake. The cores are another thing I want to ask about as well..”

OH? THAT SOUNDS FASCINATING...

[It lowers its head to rest on his collarbone, relaxing as well.]

I AM ALSO CURIOUS ABOUT THE CORES. IT IS ALWAYS STRANGE TO ME THAT OTHER BEINGS HAVE CENTRAL WEAKNESSES LIKE THAT, LIKE HUMANS HAVE HEARTS AND BRAINS...

*”Well, that isn’t something we can necessarily control, the vital organs- I can see why it could be weird to you, though.”

-He uses the side of his face to just very briefly nuzzle Adi before continuing on.-

*”My heart has not beat in a good while, and I think we already know the ordeal with my brain, so sometimes I forget that those things are super important to everyone else. At least, the heart thing.”

...WOULD HAVING THOSE FUNCTION AGAIN BE BETTER OR WORSE FOR YOU?

*”Probably worse.”

-He carefully steps over some stray sticks poking up in the ground.-

*”If I did not tell you already or you didn’t figure it out yourself, my body is essentially frozen in its time. The hourglass is a timer- it ‘unfreezes’ it as it ticks down, allowing my brain to function more, and therefore allowing more coherent speech.

*”The reason I start dying when the timer runs too long is because if I were unfrozen and back in my original world, and my correct time, it would take me exactly one minute of bleeding out before I die.”

WHAT IF YOU HAD THE AREAS THAT WOULD BLEED REPAIRED?

*”I believe it would be the same. My body has been moving for 5,000 years more than it is was supposed to- it is only the fact that it is frozen that is keeping it from stopping.”

-He shrugs carefully again.-

*”Most of what I learned about myself was from countless trial and error. I am the only one of my kind, since I believe I was meant to be the prototype for someone else to undergo the same process.”

-He chuckles a bit, then comes to a stop at the spot he thinks is where he and Cherophobia last conversed.

Now he didn’t come here for any particular reason. He kind of just wanted to be here, which confuses him heavily but okay.-

*”Don’t worry, I will tell you when I think it would be an appropriate time to test things out.”

I SEE... IN THAT CASE, I HAVE NO PROBLEM WITH IT. IT WILL PROBABLY EVEN BE GOOD TO HAVE IT EVEN MORE THOROUGHLY GONE THAN IF IT HAD BEEN SIMPLY DESTROYED.

-A few more blinks at relatively nothing before looking over at Adi and offering them a few pats, unsure on whether or not they took the chance to sleep (whatever that means for them) or not as well.

-A nod, now going to sit up a bit more and blinking some things away before turning to Adi. Now that his staff was properly in his hand, he could try moving his magic again..-

-He sighs, slightly pinching the bridge of his nose. This may be daunting.-

-He nods, having to physically stop himself from simply teleporting over because it would literally contradict his last statement, now beginning to walk over instead.-

[Adi minimizes their presence, sending a bot more of themself towards Sakura st the mention of them sleeping more... just to check.]

-Leia seems to slightly perk up at this, blinking before smiling.-

“Oh, don’t worry, it’s never too late! Which, uh- question of mine would you be answering? I know I threw a good handful at you when things first settled down-“

*”You told me you were concerned about where my magic is sourced from, correct? Or of similar lines?”

“Maaaaybe- yes, probably!” -Another little twitch of the wing.- “You always seem to have a lot of it- or are using a lot of it, at least. And seeing as you know who is gone.. yeah.”

-Sakura seems to slightly shift before it is eventually felt that they’ve drifted off again.-

-Leia’s expression momentarily shifts from surprise to a mix of confusion and worry, wings now a bit more squarely pressed to her sides.-

[It hums a bit, tilting its head into the pats.]

-A small smile visible for just a moment before it’s gone again, now turning over his arm for Adi to climb up if wanted.-

*”You can keep giving them energy if you have been, though.”
