Shinedown has been motivating me for the longest - started listening to them almost 12 years ago and fell in love with their music. While their music has always been a huge inspiration, it wasn’t until seeing them in person moved me differently.

Brent’s talk about mental health awareness and suicide prevention hits so close to home. I’ve had my fair share of struggles in the past (anxiety being one of the worst), but I’ve come so far in overcoming my weaknesses. I’m proud to have made so many achievements in life. Forever thankful for my family in guiding me along the way. I look at life differently.

*Also gotta give props to the little bro who dove onto his hands and knees in a pile of people to grab me a guitar pick. All I remember is glancing down from recording Shinedown and dude was on the floor in a crowd of people’s legs. Buddy shot up about 30 seconds later with the pick. You wanna talk about the longest hug in existence.

A little bit of an update for my artists mutuals that I’ve changed my artist handle, as well as made a new Instagram social.

I do feel a little bit of shame self promoting. However, I’ve come to terms that I’m not comfortable posting on my main social with family and coworkers. A lot of which are not comfortable with certain types of art and… well dude on dude stuff. To save myself the pressure and stress of having to be careful of what I post I have made a new account.

Would love to reach my old artist friends and new. I will shamelessly post my big dudes on there with no guilt! 😭💖🫶
