Violet is finally standing and walking! She’s still wobbly on her lil feet but she’s getting there! :) I guess I better start baby-proofing the house now haha.
Also, we’re going on a vacation next week, Scott booked us a 10 day stay at a resort on the Suva Diva islands. Can’t wait to see some sand and grass after looking at snow for the past 4 months! I seriously love Greenland but the snow and short 6 hour daylight is driving me nuts!
HAPPY 1ST BIRTHDAY VIOLET!
My little pumpkin butt turned 1 today! I can’t believe how quickly the time passed. We had a family party to celebrate, ate some cake, opened Violet’s presents and just had fun! Also, Violet made her first step! Unfortunately, she did it only once and I didn’t catch it on camera. She was so cute and wobbly on her lil feet!

Update
Let me just say it is 5:24am here and I am still on my computer. I’ve had trouble falling asleep for the past few days with no apparent reason. Wish I could tune off for a few days and just rest! Brynn woke me up at 6am yesterday ( I had a total of 2 hrs of sleep ) because for whatever reason-she thought the mailman would come at the a** crack of dawn. Why was she so eager to see the mailman? She was getting her ball routine leotard! She wouldn’t quit asking when would the package arrive. All day long! It finally came late in the afternoon. Of course, she had to try it on right away.
After dancing and playing around the house, it was time to get ready for bed. Violet really enjoys bathtime. <3
At the end of the day, they were all exhausted...
Scott and Brynn fell asleep on the couch while watching The Lord of the Rings. My husband was always a ‘hardcore fan’ of the trilogy and now he got our daughter hooked on it too!
WE’RE BACK
Hi everybody,
it’s been so long since I last posted on here. There are so many things I have to explain.
As you already know, we moved from Alpine County to NYC just over a year ago. However, NYC hasn’t been treating us well. Violet got very sick at just 2 months old, turns out the cause was none other than air pollution. Harmful substances in the air like car exhaust, chemicals from factories, dust, pollen and mold affected her breathing and health. I was afraid to take her out of the house. We knew we had to do something about it, we couldn’t stay there, regardless of Scott’s work. So we sold our apartment, just 5 months after purchasing it.
We decided to move out of NYC, but the next question was, where to? We did a lot of research, we had to find a place where the air isn’t polluted, a small town perhaps, near nature. And that’s when I found an article about Greenland. I knew that’s the place, I instantly fell in love with it. It didn’t take me long to convince Scott. So that’s how we ended up in Saaqartoq and I must say this place is like a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. Small,quiet, eco-friendly and quite picturesque! Just look at this, the view from my house!
So yeah, we’re enjoying ourselves here.
Brynn is 9 years old, going to school and still breathing dance. It was quite convenient this little town actually has a rhythmic gymnastics school, so she gets to do everything she loves. Both tricks and classic ballet. I don’t know what would I do if there wasn’t one, the kid would drive me mad.
Violet is 11 months old now and enjoys gurgling and putting everything she gets hold of in her mouth. She hasn’t made her first steps yet but she’ll be making them very soon. Her health got much better since we moved, which makes me feel relieved. All in all, she’s a very happy baby.
As for Scott and I, we’re still going on strong. After 13 years together. He still works on the ships but not as much. Comes home every 3 months. And me; I still work with my camera, though I mostly take photos of my kids and the nature.

ooc Hi! I don’t think I’ll ever be able to share sims cause they always have a lot of cc and idek where I got most of that stuff so the sims would look completely different in people’s games.. If I figure it out then maybe but it’s not a promise :/
I love your blog and your kids are the cutest little things! How is Violet during the night? And have you seen any jealousy from Brynn yet? (Sorry for my bad english) Looking forward to the next update!

She wakes quite often but it’s really easy to make her fall asleep so I won’t complain too much. ;) And Brynn is anything but jealous, with school and dance I don’t think she even has the time, haha. When she gets home from classes Violet is usually already tucked in and sleeping so we get to have some mommy-daughter time. She loves her sister very much!!

Hola! Just letting you know we’re still alive.
I’m sorry I haven’t been posting, I’m just being caught up in pretty much everything. But anyways, this little nugget is 1 month old today! <3 I swear it just flew by so quickly. She’s just being such a good baby. She had her first photoshoot a couple of days ago and the photos turned out so cute. I can’t wait to show you *if only my laptop hadn’t been stolen from my car so I could actually retouch the photos!! I swear I’m still not used to NYC. As much as I love our penthouse I just can’t adapt to this type of living. I’m used to living in suburban gated areas haha.
First day at home
We were released from the hospital yesterday. For now, I’m sleeping with Violet in our master bed and my poor husband is crashing on the couch. Ha ha. We just have to wait until our bedside cot arrives. She’ll sleep with us until we’re comfortable enough to leave her alone in the nursery. It’s much easier for me to have her by my side for nursing now. But I can’t wait for her to start sleeping on her own. She looks so tiny in her crib! And ooh I don’t think you can see it clearly but she has a little birthmark on her left hand. And it’s so cute.
