So here's the plan: i will write oneshots set in the 1800s in order to play with the concept of this AU and see what works and what doesn't.

The idea is that this AU will be inspired by the 1800s the way A Son of Ice and Fire is inpired by medieval Europe. In theory, these short stories will allow me to see what I want to include from Star Wars or from history, before I write a long, multiple-chapter fic.

So Gilroy had yet to decide whether Cassian would find his sister or not, but in the 2019 “design manifesto” wanted him to be searching through 2 seasons at least (so 5 and 4 BBY). Further evidence in this section also that the “fear of being someone who leaves people behind” idea in R1 was a Gilroy script addition from the reshoots that he’s returning to.

Puts an interesting new slant on the ep 7 scene with Maarva when she tells Cassian to let it go because when that was filmed they still thought that he wouldn’t for at least another year.

Dedra Meero's Merr-son 5 Power Blaster in Andor Season 2

If anyone wants to recreate Dedra Meero's cosplay / costume, for entrance into the 501st Legion or just to have fun at cons, you may need the 'Merr-son 5 Power Blaster' to complete your gear / kit for trooping. Can be ordered through: https://w.imperialarms3d.com/

They made the brunt of this Dedra Meero / Andor style blaster but be careful before you pay, you will have to specify your order; to have the coiled cord at the top be straight and the console fins on either side to be painted silver. I had to straighten the telephone style cording, then add paint to the console fins on either side, using 'Iridescent Bright Silver' from Liquitex, because it doesn't come that way.

Be 'very specific' when ordering your Dedra Meero / Andor style blaster, it was only after I submitted it for approval to the 501st Legion that it was indicated to me I needed to change the cording to be straight and paint the console fin - see in photo's above. It has since been 501st Legion approved. So this means Dedra and I are an almost put together character!

Syril and Dedra were sweethearts for 36 DAYS. All my other Miis have been so trigger happy with marriage so I find this touching and fascinating. Something Something he was waiting until after gorman.

They got up to many fun things! They're favorite "cute" thing to do is chase eachother around my island. Hunting one another for sport! How normal! How well adjusted!
