Just because he went into the cafe business and he was a vampire, didn’t mean Fai would have to quit his more magical practices. If anything, being in a city where there’s a constant flow of magic everywhere, yet did not center itself around that magic as LeCourt did only made Fai more curious and test it with his own; if he couldn’t find a method to travel to his friends once more with only half of his magic he wanted to at least find a way to contact them somehow through Mokona. But for now, tinkering with potion recipes to make his cafe’s drinks just a bit more unique and fun.
One. Two. Three… One vial was missing. Oh dear. Just as the magician moved to retrace his steps, a rather awkward boy stammering at him and holding the conconction Fai had misplaced. Oh, thankfully he nor had anyone else drank it.
❝ Juice…?❞ Fai questioned, before bursting into laughter upon piecing it together as he took the vial. ❝ Ahahaha! Thank you for returning it without drinking it. I’m afraid I haven’t tested this yet and this ‘juice’ might’ve had you burping bubbles until you eventually die from dehydration.❞
What did they say? That was the opposite of what Kageyama needed. He was a volleyball player, and any sports player knew that they needed to stay hydrated! The thing that was in his hand—it was cursed. That must be it. Maybe this person was doing drugs… if so, shouldn’t he be backing away, by now?
❝ Then—why are you making it? There’s no poisonous sticker on the juice…! ❞ he was rather concerned for other’s safety. If this person dropped it again, and a kid drank it, they could die… all just because of a liquid! His arms twitched with uncertainty of what actions he should be taking next.
❝ And you… you have more! ❞ he was amazed at the sight of them. They were intense to look at, but if all of them were deadly… what was this person up to? The people of Koi were strange. Very, very strange. He should just move back to Japan, but no, he was stuck here. Was everyone in Koi like this?
