    Honda heard the laugh and was about to ask what that was all about before he heard what she had to say and instantly he was surprised. 

          “Really? Do you think we’d have to go shopping for all that stuff? I mean, I don’t mind, we can take Belle and get to and from the store with more ease.” He voiced with a smile on his face. Yes, good company was always welcome, as was food.

Yami smiled and nodded her head. 

“Just for a few things that I’m low on. I don’t mind taking....Belle?” Was this his motorcycle? She wasn’t too sure, and she gave him a questioning look.

     Well that did make sense, vegetables were an important part of the meal as well, so Honda just gave a nod of his own as she spoke. 

     But then laughed lightly at her question. 

          “No no, I was just curious as to what foods you liked when you were a pharaoh is all. Sorry, didn’t mean to confuse you.”

Yami chuckled lightly and shook her head. She shifted her weight on the balls of her feet, looking at Honda.

“How about I cook some up?”

Plus good food and good company always went well together.

“Missed you too.” He lifted a hand to her head and patted it softly, smiling a little at the gesture he was given.

Yami made a soft noise and looked back up at Jou.

“How are you doing in school? Is it going well?”

“Must have been for a really long time, honestly…but it’s good to see you again too after ages.” He really wished he could have kept up with her.

There’s a moment of silence, before she moved on over to jou and embraced him tightly.

“I missed you.”

“Mm, well, school’s been really crazy lately. Lots of work but nothing I can’t handle.

..what about you?”

“I had a lot of work, that’s been keeping me pretty much like a shut in. I’m done with it though, so it’s nice to relax now.”

She smiled up at him.

“It’s good to see you again.”

     Just listening to all of the words that she had called out, it felt like some of them weren’t even real. Egypt surely did have a different language, and if he was honest he did enjoy such dialect. 

          “I see, so are Egyptians like–vegetarians then? I mean, you have to have meat as well, don’t you?” He tilted his head for a moment. Surely they had to have meat, cattle was something they raised, right?

“We do have meat, lamb, beef, chicken...” She shrugged her shoulders, looking over at Honda. “it’s just vegetables are part of the main dish more than meat. That’s all.”

Why was he asking her for these?

“Are you planning on going to Egypt?”

          “Okay so, Egypt, what kinda food do you like the best from that country? I have to know!” Of course it was all about his stomach, but finding out different delicacies from different countries? Who wouldn’t want to ask questions?

“That depends really. Some parts have been americanized a lot, others are more traditional. Though, I guess  ful medames, mashed fava beans; kushari, a mixture of lentils, rice, pasta, and other ingredients; molokhiya, chopped and cooked bush okra with garlic and coriander sauce; and feteer meshaltet would be it.”

A pause.

“It’s mainly a lot of vegetables.”
