Often, our identity unintentionally gets placed in in worldly things. Like for me, it's the following: I am a teacher, a friend, a fiancé, a Jesus freak, a student, a sister, and so on. I know something that I forget, and maybe you do too, is that who I am should be based more on how God sees me instead of how the world sees me. My identity in God is as follows: I am loved, known, free, wanted, a daughter, holy, worthy, unique, and so much more. When we place our identity in God, our foundation cannot be shaken because everything is based on who and how great He is, and He does not change. When we place our identity in the world, something's bound to crack and crumble and then suddenly we're at a loss because we feel as though we don't know who we are anymore. I pray you will work on placing your identity in Christ alone with me instead of the world. In this, we can be confident in who we are and whose we are, and we cannot be shaken. _________________________________________________________ #jesus #god #identity #recklesslove #christianity #christian
