DOCTOR BRONNERS SOAP TRICK ;

i know everyone whos in the bodycare realm has learnt about double cleansing by now and we see it done a lot with the dove bar soap or an anti bacterial bar soap. those are amazing options but i find that using the doctor bronners castile soap gives me the BEST double cleansing experience.

it leaves me so clean without overstimulating me and being overly squeaky like the antibacterial dial soap does. if u like to be super squeaky then go with the dial soap, while the castile soap does leave you squeaky it's not ANNOYING.

HOT TIP: make sure that you wash ur underarms every single day! and aside from just doing that i recommend washing ur underarms and letting the soap sit there for 30 seconds to a minute or while you wash the rest of ur body...💬🎀

FOR YOUR INTIMATE AREAS ;

make sure that after getting out of the shower you dry down there. it is SOO easy to forget but trapped moisture literally breathes bacteria and it's gonna make u smell so pls don't forget it.

i love the lume soap bar for my down there area. also the dove unscented bar soap and the equate feminine wash.

furtheremore when washing, just like letting the soap sit for ur underarms i recommend doing that for ur kitty too. remember to be careful and not let the soap get inside but make sure it stays around and still cleans you thoroughly.

always start off your shower with an unscented bar of soap, my favorite soap at the moment is the yellow dial antibacterial soap bar ♡۰ ׅ ࣪ ⊹

using a strawberry scented body wash is what is going to give us that strawberry scent we're going for 𐙚 ˖ ݁𖥔 ݁˖ 🍓🍰

❤︎₊ ⊹ dove x crumbl strawberry crumb cake body scrub (walmart $7.97) as someone with sensitive skin, i love the body scrubs from dove. they're so gentle on the skin but they'll still leave your skin feeling soft like a cupcake afterwards!

tip: after showering, always apply lotion onto damp skin and follow with a body oil afterwards to lock in all the moisture. i recommend using body butters during the colder seasons and using light weight lotions during warmer seasons ♡۰ ׅ ࣪  ⊹

How to: Be ready for the new school year.

Episode 3: The Hygiene.

Hi angels! New day new episode of our "How to" series! Now, getting ready for the new school year isn't just all books and calendars, let's take care of ourselves as well! Here are some of my favourite tips & reminders.

Oral hygiene: I've come across a tiktok earlier and in the comment section I discovered that many people's parents didn't care much about oral hygiene. Let's tackle this one down thoroughly, because oral hygiene isn't just about brushing. First: Choose a good toothbrush & toothpaste, and they don't have to be expensive, just effective. Second: Flossing. People underestimate how good flossing is. It gets rid of food that gets stuck between your teeth AND no, a toothpick won't do. Third: Oil pulling. Choose any edible oil like coconut or sesame and swish it for as long as you can then spit it out. It gets rid of plaque and reduces oral bacteria! Fourth: Tongue scraping. This is so important because it removes bacteria and dead cells from your the tongue's surface and thus helps improve bad breath and taste.

Showers: We all know everything showers, we know the steps and so on, I won't be talking about that. I'm talking about the tiny places we *might* miss: the navel for example. This should be cleaned and taken care of, as well as your armpits and behind your ears. Just because it's hidden doesn't mean we can simply ignore it! So make sure to get all those tiny places and hidden parts and clean them just as well!

Hair hygiene: Shampoo, condition and rinse. But also brush regularly to detangle and break build-up, use hair masks, get trims every 3-6 months and maintain a healthy diet!

Nail hygiene: Some people prefer longer nails and that's fine but ! they hold more germs than you'd like ): So it's better to maintain shorter nails, clean them with q tips, file and shape them however you'd like. Also keep your hands moisturized for a better look. If you have a habit of biting nails or cuticles please seek ways to prevent yourself from doing so as it may cause infections plus it doesn't look good.

Scent Hygiene: So we did take a good shower, moisturize! An unscented body lotion acts as a base to help your perfume last longer. You can layer fragrances by using a body wash, body splash and perfume of the same scent, this way, the scent lasts longer on your body. Note: Please do NOT over do it, don't use many fragrances of various notes that will overpower each other and not smell as good as you think.

my feel good rituals . ݁₊ ⊹

whenever i feel gross, emotionally tired, or just not pretty, i love to do these little things that genuinely make a big difference. i practice these on a daily basis, and it lifts my spirits and always helps out my mood ♡

💌 take an everything shower

9/10 of the times i feel gross, i just really need to take a shower. but an everything shower elevates your experience and leaves you feeling like a new person !! im talking hair mask, double shampooing, exfoliation, shaving if you want to, and putting on that good smelling body lotion !! ill be having some product recommendations at the end of this post ♡

💌 doll yourself up

i do this throughout the day, but if im at home and i wanna feel a bit more pretty, i do simple things like curling my eyelashes, putting on some lipgloss, and spraying some sweet smelling perfume !! it really doesnt take much to make yourself feel like a doll ~

also, i sometimes put on some cute outfits and just swap out different clothes to make more outfits !!! it makes me feel better AND also helps me when i dont know what to wear for a week of school !

💌 staying comfortable

why would you even want to be uncomfortable ?? especially in the coldest months, staying warm and cozy is extremely important. after showering, i like to put on some soft pajama pants and a hoodie, along with some fuzzy socks (cuz having cold feet is genuinely the worst thing ever).

then, make yourself some comfort food and put on a comfort show !!! personally, my comfort foods are mac n cheese or spicy salmon sushi, and my ultimate comfort show is bee and puppycat. (i really recommend it !!!) bundle yourself up in a blanket and just allow yourself to relax and be happy ! ♡ (ALSO DRINK WATER!!!!)

💌 get off your phone !!

especially if youre feeling emotionally tired, i urge you to get off your phone, laptop, any screen that keeps you stuck scrolling for hours. let your brain and eyes relax from the blue light and allow yourself to quiet your mind. read a book you've been wanting to read ! partake in a hobby you haven't had time to do because of school ! go for a walk (if its not TOO cold outside) ! exercise ! just try to avoid staying stuck in that scrolling cycle. nothing great comes out of it.
