The Priest talked of rules, and of following rules, and yet… If what she had felt before had been anyway towards what she thought it was…
Then this Priest was an absolute hypocrite.
“You imply that I am little more than rabid dog, to be put down because she serves no purpose? How cruel to punish a Servant because she cannot find a Master capable of generating enough Mana to feed her.”
As an Avenger, she did require less Mana than she did if she was summoned as a Caster. But she was also lacking in the regeneration skills that she would have available to her, had she been a Caster,
“I could always just feed off the Environment. Humans don’t require trees or nature, do they? They seem to be doing a great job at killing it off themselves.”
Her laugh echoed around her, not at all muffled by the hand she held up over her mouth. Really now, was he determined to act innocent and without fault, despite how he was obviously hiding something.
And something big and bad, at that.
“I have no interest in destroying the world. Just a few people… People that more than likely are not present here.”
Angra had imparted the events of the previous War on her, so she was aware of the circumstances that Kirei spoke of. While it wasn’t a path that she herself would have walked, she had to admire the Caster and his Master for attempting to pull it off. Even if it had been an absolute failure.
If she could find anyone of that Kiritsugu’s family, she supposed that it would be fun enough for her. Anyone that sided, or was even related to them, with her little Sister deserved to suffer for that alliance.
“Hmmmm, I suppose I could always find someone hiding a little secret, and feed off them? But where would I find a secret like that, I wonder?”
