One of the most dangerous things in the world is not being able to say no to people because you don't want to upset them or dissapoint them. This will completely ruin your life in every way possible, at work, in your private life, your sex life and your friendships. It's a way of removing your own consent in your own decisions and go against your wishes, it is always a crime against yourself. Let yourself have a say. Upsetting people is better than traumatizing yourself.
Not every day has to count. Some days are for repairing, resting, mourning. You don't have to perform every day. Some days are for doing nothing. For sleeping all day or being on your phone. Relaxing is ok, allowed and encouraged. Do what you need to do.
Respecting yourself is so important. Speaking well about yourself. Taking care of yourself. Comforting yourself. Having empathy with yourself. Letting yourself rest. Surrounding yourself with people that treat you well and also respect you. Putting up boundaries with people that don't. You are worth the world.
This is your sign to stop hurting yourself. No more self harm, physically, emotionally, no more staying awake until 3am, no more starving yourself or crazy diets, no more going days without a shower, no more talking badly about yourself, no more villainizing yourself, no more punishment and cringing about every word you said, no more overexercising and toxic friends and abusing substances, this is your year of healing, this is your sign for change.
