Hi! Not dead. Just had a crazy past few days.
Wild update, kinda. I went from feeling kinda stagnate a few days ago (my waist has shrunk, yes, but overall I looked the same) to looking and feeling way better and thinner over a few days. On Monday (the 12th), I kinda said “fuck it I’ll deal with it later” about my diet, because I had my mother’s birthday, my birthday, and Valentine’s Day back to back, which meant a lot of drinking, take out, and cake. I was totally expecting to gain weight, but I tried to only eat when I was hungry, and maybe that did something? Either way, I definitely ate over 1200 calories for those three days.
But I feel great. Maybe that’s what I needed— a metabolism boost? My thighs look and feel thinner, my waist is the same, my face was swollen this morning from drinking but I’m already feeling better. I felt like shit before my mom’s birthday, and I was dreading eating so much over a few days, but maybe that’s just what I needed.
Idk. I’ll have to see about formulating my week to include more metabolism days, because my thighs are leaner than they were before. Keep in mind, I was so busy spending time with family, I didn’t work out. So. Maybe that was something I needed all along.
Either way, food update as of right now:
Two rice cakes with PB (250 kcal)
Black bean burrito bowl (aka bed of greens, salsa, black beans, and spices, or 494 kcal)
I want to drink a cider later and have some cake, but I’ve had so much alcohol and sugar lately, so maybe I’ll lay off it for tonight. Will definitely go for a power walk though.
