☆This week

Hey folks who pop in every now and then or so, just wanted to make this heads up about my communication this week.

I will be practically UNABLE to respond to ANYTHING, literally this whole week. On here, and on discord. The only times I may pop in, is MAYBE in the morning, a lunch break, and night. But don't count on it.

I will NOT be responding to any roleplays until further notice, I will be saving them to my drafts if any are sent or so.

On Monday (hey that's today!) I will be going on a trip with some folks from my class, we're doing some on-hand study shit or whatever it's freaking called, THEN we're also gonna have some fun. I should be safe, I got a room with four good people, Luke is going, rob, Miles, Harp, folks i know and friends with.

That only is until Wednesday, BUT then I have a final presentation that day. Then on thursday is my LAST presentation! And Friday, is finally my graduation, where I am free to transfer to this other college. Family (select few) are coming iver to visit from HOURS away, and i will most likely be taking them to a light show in the city nearby, so...

I will most likely be SLOW RESPONSES for TWO WEEKS. that i know of. So please, be understanding <333

IF. If anybody would like my phone number to be in contact with me, I am willing to SELECT PEOPLE. I will be much easier to contact on my phone number, and will actually be able to respond for NON RP PURPOSES. This isn't just for a simple check in, this is for any talk at all. Small vent/nerve rant under

The only thing really I'm nervous about this trip is kinda.. being alone. I'm a introvert, and I don't like to leave my comfort people/people i know, but people tend to kinda leave me behind when on trips. I don't really fit into a 'group' just kinda an outsider. So I don't have high hopes that won't happen here, but yeah

[Huron had been in the bath for.... honestly he lost track of time, there was still soap in his hair and the water was barely warm, practically lukewarm even though it was steaming when he first stepped in, he started at the ceiling, even though he wanted to close his eyes, he wanted to move, to get rid of the soap and water and finally just go to bed already, but his body felt like it was submerged in concrete and not just water, he feared that if he tried to dip his hair into the water, he'd end up drowning instead, so he resolved to just....laying there, it took a lot of effort to sit up and finally dowse his hair enough for the water to run clean of suds and he wasn't sure that he even did, he got out, grabbing his towel and just wrapped it around his body instead of trying to dry off, he sat on the ground, starring blankly at the wall, he was so tired

Eventually, he stood again, and as agonizing as it was, he walked to his room, looking to the bed, his bedsheets laying on the side of the bare mattress...right....

He went and laid on the bed, his stupid bare mattress, nothing but a damn towel around him, he curled into himself, he wanted to just pass out right now so we didn't have to deal with this agony he was in, it was a simple two tasks and yet it feels like so much, how pathetic can he be?

Buck glanced back at him and hummed, ❝Huh... Wonder why. Do you want me to stock up on that uh, what's it called... I dunno, the tea that is supposed to help relax or whatever. Do we still have some of that?❞

"we do but for some reason it's started making me nauseous so I'm just gonna stick to camomile for a while...I don't know, sometimes I get like this and it's hard to know why"

[Huron laid back down, holding Buck's hand when he laid next to him]

"'m just tryin' to keep my head up, y'know?"

Buck nodded, looking at his husband for a moment before looking back up, lacing their fingers. ❝I understand a bit... That's the most we can do at times like this. You're doing well, my love. Doing the best you can.❞

[Huron nodded, reveling in the silence for a bit before asking a question weighing on his mind]

"...will you still love me? If I get worse?...i-i know it's a dumb question, I know I already know the answer, you've answered this question before I just....

....I'm scared, Buck"

Buck looked back to his husband, blinking a few times. He scooted closer again so he was side-to-side with him, giving a small squeeze of his hand.

❝If you get worse, if you get better, if you even stay the same, I will love you through it all. I will be here for you, for anything. I made a vow to be by your side, 'n I don't plan on breaking that too you.❞

❝i'm here with you, Huron.❞

He chuckled and pulled a blanket over himself; he didn’t take off his button up, probably would do that in the middle of the night when he got to hot.

Buck decided a 'Fend-for-yourself-night' for dinner. He had tried to make a recipe Huron wrote down for him, but when he placed it in front of dylan, the boy had gagged and shivered. Buck had wanted to shove the damn food down his throat, but then he tasted it himself and realized it truly would be torture to do so. So, he threw away the food, and just declared everyone could scrounge around for food. A stern 'that doesn't mean STEALING from town. We have food here.'

He had gotten worried about huron, since he was spending a lot of time in the bath, but didn't want to bother him. But, he was glad when Huron sludged on out, heading into the room. Buck followed him after a moment to tell him dinner plans, but paused as he saw his husband laying there, probably exhausted all around. His gaze softened, yet he said nothing and just went to the sheets to look them over, making sure they were clean and no critters were inside.

[Huron took a good while to realize his husband came into the room, looking over their sheets, he wanted to get up and make the bed himself just so Buck didn't have to but he truly couldn't, he just felt like crying but even that took too much energy, it seemed like]

Buck looked them over, and after shaking scrap and a few mice out, he set them onto a chair, then flopped down next to huron with a sigh, still saying nothing. He rested a hand on hurons back, then the other over his chest, staring at the cieling.

[Huron started to tear up at the gesture, he didn't know why, maybe he was tired, maybe it was just the amount of pain he was in, he didn't know]

Buck rubbed his thumb along hurons back for a moment before scooting closer and wrapping a arm around his lover. Just kinda... being there.

[Huron fully started to cry this time, he was sick of this, sick of feeling this way, he continued for a while before choking out an]

"I'm sorry"

Buck just stayed as he was, pressed against huron, arm around him ina cuddle-hug, chin lightly resting on his head. He frowned and raised a brow.

❝There's nothin' to be sorry for, so don't say it.❞

"...I can't dress myself after a bath that was subpar at best, I can't make the bed, I can't cook, hell I couldn't even write this morning"

[Huron tries to shrink into himself more]

"I don't know why you're so kind to me"

Bucks frown deepend and he pulled back to look at the other, eyes shining with worry but understanding. ❝Because you can't control it. You don't do it on purpose, you're not faking it, you've pushed yourself enough lately. I've seen you, hun. I've seen you try to force yourself on more walks, force through the pain and strain, and this day your body just can't. And that's ok. You don't have too.❞

❝Nothin' needs to be done the minute.❞ he scoffed, ❝The world ain't gonna end because you didn't put on the sheets. The house isn't gonna fall to ruins because you couldn't cook today, your not less than you are because you can't force anymore out of you. I love you, nothing more to it.❞

❝Give yourself the benefit of the doubt of what you have done today. You've existed. You even took a bath.❞

[Huron blinked back more tears, trying not to start sobbing, he didn't know what to say]

"....I love you"

❝I love you too, 'n always will,❞ he pressed a kiss to the crown of his head. ❝Now, if you want to get some rest, go ahead ok? I'll put the sheets on later, or even tomorrow. There's no rush.❞ Buck offered a small smile.

"could ya grab me one of my sleep shirts as well? I think I can put at least that on"

He nodded and slowly let him go, moving up and to the drawers searching for a moment before pulling out a loose gray one. ❝This one ok?❞

Buck passed it on over, closing the drawer.

[It took a bit before Huron sat up enough to actually put it on but eventually he did, grabbing a blanket to drape over himself as he usually ran cold during the nights, even in the summer]

Buck grabbed their pillow, putting the pillow sheet at least over that before dropping it on the bed, going to their closet to dig out some more blankets. ❝That weighted blanket been ok for you still?❞

[Huron had been in the bath for.... honestly he lost track of time, there was still soap in his hair and the water was barely warm, practically lukewarm even though it was steaming when he first stepped in, he started at the ceiling, even though he wanted to close his eyes, he wanted to move, to get rid of the soap and water and finally just go to bed already, but his body felt like it was submerged in concrete and not just water, he feared that if he tried to dip his hair into the water, he'd end up drowning instead, so he resolved to just....laying there, it took a lot of effort to sit up and finally dowse his hair enough for the water to run clean of suds and he wasn't sure that he even did, he got out, grabbing his towel and just wrapped it around his body instead of trying to dry off, he sat on the ground, starring blankly at the wall, he was so tired

Eventually, he stood again, and as agonizing as it was, he walked to his room, looking to the bed, his bedsheets laying on the side of the bare mattress...right....

He went and laid on the bed, his stupid bare mattress, nothing but a damn towel around him, he curled into himself, he wanted to just pass out right now so we didn't have to deal with this agony he was in, it was a simple two tasks and yet it feels like so much, how pathetic can he be?

Buck decided a 'Fend-for-yourself-night' for dinner. He had tried to make a recipe Huron wrote down for him, but when he placed it in front of dylan, the boy had gagged and shivered. Buck had wanted to shove the damn food down his throat, but then he tasted it himself and realized it truly would be torture to do so. So, he threw away the food, and just declared everyone could scrounge around for food. A stern 'that doesn't mean STEALING from town. We have food here.'

He had gotten worried about huron, since he was spending a lot of time in the bath, but didn't want to bother him. But, he was glad when Huron sludged on out, heading into the room. Buck followed him after a moment to tell him dinner plans, but paused as he saw his husband laying there, probably exhausted all around. His gaze softened, yet he said nothing and just went to the sheets to look them over, making sure they were clean and no critters were inside.
