I was simply curious about how Isaac would look with glasses, being the NEEEERD big book reader he is. Suits him imo! I do love soft shading, but I rarely like how it comes out, so it’s SO nice to like the results for once! ❤️💙🍄🌿🌳

Isaac came out a little bigger than I meant but hey! Kayden is definitely the reason Isaac is bushed from his energizer bunny ways, but Kayden still remains true to his big brother instincts. 🦌🏹🍄🌿

I gotta be one of the worst offenders in sharing art many months after making it Denzel’s (Kayden’s) little brother Ailell. I chose Ailell because one of the meanings is elf, which fits with Isaac taking place of younger brother when Denzel runs away.

I meant to finish this early summer, but it’s done! I’d love to have one or two more Kellogg’s drawings done before the year is over, but I’ll see.

I had a lot of fun experimenting with lighting.

You know I’d love to have more UK things in general for these guys but, I’m not a native so wouldn’t want the stuff to be stilted/unnatural in use…but I can “get away” with little things like football instead of soccer lol

I had a sketch of Denzel (Kayden) and his dad Elatus, and decided to run with making it into a kind of movie poster or book cover.

Huge, huge, HUGE shout out to a friend of mine who named Elatus and fleshed him out significantly! The general design idea is his as well (Elatus is 90% his!).

Almost all of Kayden’s family have names, designs, and more fleshed out personalities- the only thing I have to do is figure out his sister’s dress and the design for the queen (though I know generally what I’m aiming for). Kayden’s story has an identity now in terms of general plot and character development; completely blows my mind whenever I think about it.

Was talking with @oathborngt more about his character Herne and my boi Reese, and how Herne can be scary to him ghnghg. The little concept came up of Reese teasing Herne too much, to the point where he retaliates and ends up spooking Reese enough to put a glass over him. Oath compared Herne to being like an agitated wasp or hornet, which sounds quite scary!!

Reese will let him back out, he just wants to try and reason with Herne first before doing so. ;w; Though… it’s gonna be hard with a language barrier, which Reese has kinda forgotten about for a moment. 😅 But Herne will end up letting him off easy this time…
