CAN WE SPEAK A SECOND ON THIS VIGNETTE?

Are we seriously understanding how strong the end of this month’s RHATO issue was?

I mean, Jason has lost everything …

He lost his friends Artemis and Bizarro, he lost his headquarters and his technological advantage, he lost his city and the opportunity to protect it, he lost his family and his mentor (once again), he lost his identity and his name … He lost all and each one of the things for which he worked, fought and struggled.

And in the end, after having lost everything … Roy is there for Jason.

No matter anything else, or why or when or how … not even the sad and disappointing way in which they said goodbye when they were partners … Roy is next to Jason because HE IS HIS FRIEND.

No matter what Jason decides to do with his life, it´s a fact that Roy will be there when Jaybird needs him.

Ladies and gentlemen … we are facing a true friend, a true brother, a true partner… a true hero.

His thighs are shown, but not his face, and he doesn’t speak in the videos. Yet the batfamily can STILL figure out who’s thighs those belong to.
