On the weekends, Alice normally kept to herself and to her books. Now, however, she was left without any plans and no work to finish. Sunday had gone by slow and dragged on like a hot summer afternoon. The thick air inside her dorm room felt suffocating and the beige walls were driving her off...
Candice had already began studying for a test that was a week away and got a large chunk of her first big statistics project completed. Senior year was already overwhelming her, but she was trying to get as much work done as humanly possible. When she finally found the work she done acceptable and enough for the day so she wouldn't be bogged down. The library in which she was cooped up in was beginning to make her stir crazy and a walk around campus was exactly what she needed to make her remember there was life outside of the stacks. Seeing all the other students walking around was refreshing and she automatically started trying to figure out what was going on inside their heads, a hobby that she would use when she was in theatre, it would help her identify with the characters more. A boy in a plaid shirt went by that she recognized from stats and she wondered if he was as stressed out about the project as she was. A couple walked by, giggling, and she wondered what kind of secret inside joke they shared. Then she noticed a familiar face, from the society. "Alice!" She called out, "Hey! Long time no see! How are you?"
