Hi! I'm very new here. If I've already PMd you and didn't originally know what the e was in the title...my apologies for being new in an area I considered myself a veteran!

I just recently got out of a very long roleplay (~8 yrs) with someone I have no longer decided to stay friends with. I'm doing well, but unfortunately, my roleplay cravings have skyrocketed. As mentioned, I'm mostly comfortable with fandom, but I am more than happy to also do something a little more OC! Here's an idea of some (but not all) fandoms I like:

DC/Marvel

Overwatch

Undertale

Earthbound/MOTHER

Fables/TWAU

GoT (I am caught up, finally)

Final Fantasy (most familiar with 6, 7, 10, and 14)

Content: I welcome violence. I welcome gore. I welcome NSFW situations, so long as the plot is not heavily drenched with it. I am very romantic, but it's not what I want to command everything, necessarily. It makes the plot interesting. Also, conflict. I devour conflict like a perfectly cooked steak. If you'd rather happy endings and non-complicated relationships and scenarios on the regular, look elsewhere. I like adventure and excitement. While domestic scenes happen, I would rather we not play them out more than needed. I bore easily with goody two shoes and idle small talk.

I am very wordy. Please do not be worried about how long your responses are! At the very least one paragraph will satisfy me. I usually can write 2-3 on average for roleplay, but if I go on a tangent, it can be a little intimidating for some people! I switch from first to third depending on what I feel is best, but primarily I roleplay third person.  I prefer literacy over everything, so be interesting, but don't abuse your poor thesaurus.

Non-fandom rp genres I would be into:

Fantasy (includes medieval, superhero, storybook, etc.)

Horror (self explanatory. Psychological, mass murderer, cannibal, etc.)

Romance (once again, self explanatory. m/f, m/m, f/f)

Mystery (Piorot or Holmes, it matters not)

Otherwise I am open to suggestions.

Currently I am looking for a full time job, but I am unemployed at the moment. I usually respond within 1-2 days, unless I'm into it, which could be a few hours' time. If you have responsibilities, a set schedule, or any of the like, please let me know. I am very easy going and flexible. I can double, no problem, and ask that you be 18+ please.

Others have reached similar stature in their respective worlds. They too have been summoned here. It is your choice to act with or against them. Then again you may simply ignore. This realm is unkind, perhaps some companionship may prove useful. You may stay at this lodging for as long as you desire. Here you will not be disturbed. Though each passing day will only bring you closer to death, it will be a peaceful one. In this world life can be stolen. The only way to survive is to devour the weak or feed off the strong. Those that seek answers must journey to my Shadow's rest. He will guide you to me. Only when you once again stand at the pinnacle of power may you reach me. Rest and dine now, for the journey ahead will have no comforts...

Hello all, BigenusHybrid here. The basic premise is that powerful entities (your OP characters) are placed in a realm where they themselves are simply ordinary if anything. The realm this takes place in is ever changing (don't expect to be OP and have nothing done about it) as time goes on. Instead of over powered abilities you will have to show that your entity can outthink the competition (other characters and NPCs). The ultimate goal is to reach the entity behind this (my character?) and return to your world.

I'm hoping for this to be a group RP. Thus certain roleplayer aspects are expected.

Maturity - 18+ due to potential NSFW content, suggested themes, language, and gore. In OOC one must also be cooperative and respectful of others.

Availability - 24/7 would be great but we're human. I have an open schedule going into this summer. I don't expect you to be always on but if you go missing without any warning things are considered over at that point.

Dedication - If you're not invested in this idea then please leave. Far too many RPs end due to someone losing interest and ghosting. If you're not able to type up a well written reply then at least say so. If you do lose interest then don't ruin the RP. Simply announce your leave in the OOC and if possible cooperate to a point where your character can be dealt with.

Substance - Grammar, spelling, syntax. All that fun stuff at least to a coherent degree. Replies don't need to be paragraphs or have word counts, write appropriately and if you wish include excessive details. Write because you want to, not because you have to.

The RP will be done over google docs with a skype group for OOC. Third person point of view written in past tense. Doubling is allowed and if convinced up to four characters. There is no character template. Things rarely work out nicely so go with your favorite OP character or create a new one. Please use OCs. Using lore from any known work is allowed but remember this is a completely separate realm (world). Everything is nothing more than a reference.

We are beginning today, with three members established characters. Joining process will be relatively simple, please send skype username and any questions in a pm.

Hello there, thanks for taking a gander. I'm Briana, 21+, and a college student who has been role playing with this character for 4 years. I got my start on tumblr and have role played there since but am looking to try some other communities which led me here.

*Victor is 33 years old and a vampire as of the age of 28

*He was put into a program run by an organization known as "the Academy" as a child. They promoted themselves as a second chance for impoverished youth and promised to provide food, shelter and a good education to any children in the program. The reality was that they were raised and trained as assassins and mercenaries.

*Victor is bisexual and there is a particular NSFW based long term scenario/relationship involving another male character I'd like to explore. Contact me for details.

Hey yo! New to Reddit here and decided to put out an ad for what I’ve been craving to do. I’ve recently revived my Pepper and would like to plot&play. Long-term partner > Short-term, please!

I’m above 21 so I’m ideally looking for the same in my partner with a good grasp on writing. A couple of paragraphs are usually what I churn out but I do enjoy text-based roleplay/real time chat through GChat/Skype/kik. I don’t just want to write sweet romance and fluff though. I’d like to write stories with substance(e.g.: tackling Tony’s PTSD) and potential NSFW themes as well.

Pepper’s mostly based off MCU and I’m open to different timelines/canon divergence but if you’d like to play out something from the comics, I don’t mind doing the research and I’ll try my best to portray her accurately. I have a list of headcanons for her if you’re interesting in reading them too!

Hello! Again I'm looking for any rpers to do a long term dark fantasy rp with. I've come across some amazing partners so far but I just want to see if anyone else is interested I have a fantasy world developed that we could use, it's a dark fantasy setting with some elements from the dying earth genre, based loosely off multiple mythologies, mostly Japanese. Graviax - This grammar checker is much more comprehensive than Microsoft Word, again, because English is a weird language.
