I love how their backstory slowly unfolds in this fic. As much as I love a dramatic and chaotic Draco I really enjoyed seeing him so calm and controlled in a crisis.

The dialogue between Draco and Harry is absolutely captivating. Every conversation they have feels so natural and layered that I find myself going back and rereading them over and over again.

This fic feels genuinely special, and I wish more people were reading it. It deserves so much more attention.

Just be warned: Chapter 5 contains peak Draco freak out. You'll be covering your eyes, yelling at your screen, and asking yourself why this man insists on making everything harder for himself.

The exploration of dark magic feels really unique and interesting. Add in intense character dynamics (hello unhinged Draco 👀)…such a gripping read.

It’s currently a WIP and I would absolutely love to see it get more attention to prompt another writing burst from the author.

I’d really love to see this WIP get more attention—it’s beautifully written, with a quiet, lingering sadness that stays with you. The pacing is slower, but it completely draws you in and feels so worth it. Can’t wait to see where it goes next.
