Okay I just want everyone to take a second (because I’m still processing the episode) to think about where you were 2,199 days ago. And think about how much has happened since then. And how much you’ve changed.

Now think about Clarke picking up the radio for every single one of those 2,199 days to talk to Bellamy. And never hearing anything back.

And never giving up?

Not after a hundred days of not hearing from him. Not after five hundred. Not even after 1,827 days when he didn’t come home. Not in the 372 days after that when she didn’t know why he hadn’t returned. Where he was.

Guys, that’s fucking…that’s love, but love isn’t even a strong enough word. It’s commitment. It’s faith so strong that it somehow keeps Clarke going after a year alone on the planet. After two years. It gave her the strength to live again, it stopped her from giving up.

So Clarke’s love for Bellamy, and Bellamy’s love for Clarke…yeah, it transcends romance. It transcends words. It transcends literal worlds.

And this…this is the message the show wanted to leave us with, at the end of season 4 and with 8 months ahead of us until season 5:

They want us to know that even after 2,199 days, Clarke hasn’t forgotten Bellamy. She hasn’t given up on him. She still believes in him.

And that, that something-more-than-love…well, it’s setting us up for something incredible. Part 2 of this story that’s always been a love story.

So, I seriously think now more than ever that the writers are setting Bellamy up to have a space romance with Echo, unfortunately. Besides the whole trope of two people who don’t like or trust each other (We’ve seen this numerous times on this show, especially with very beginning Bellarke) there is the whole scene where Bellamy saved her from offing herself, the classic Bellamy move of making a semi-lighthearted joke to ease the tension (We might need someone to throw overboard to lighten the load) that we’ve only seen him use with people he cares for (mainly Clarke), then Echo being the one to rush over and remove his helmet so he could breathe...

Oh yeah, then there is the fact that HE THINKS CLARKE IS DEAD, and thus believes that her wish for him would be that he live his life to the fullest, not waste her sacrifice, rah-rah-rah. Meaning if he can’t have her because she’s dead, he should move on with someone else to find happiness, and he more than likely will, with Echo (Bellamy and Raven is just too weird for me). So, six years together... It won’t be comfort or companionship type of arrangement, it’ll be a bond, a long term kinda thing. I pray to god I am wrong, but I think that they’re gonna set up a biological kid trope on Bellamy’s part with Echo (Kinda like what they did on Arrow), because the writers only know the word extreme, and its something ‘surprising’ is it not? Would probably, most definitely, fit perfectly in with JRoth’s “we’ll be very surprised by what we find up there” line in his interview (x). I could totally see the writers doing something like this, and until I see evidence to the contrary, I will be in fear of it. I’m desperate for evidence btw...

So we’re looking as a very possible love triangle (this not so bad- I would like to see, on screen, Clarke be the pining one instead of Bellamy for once) and smaller possibility of a Blake kid from Bellamy (not good- Bellarke is already facing too many hurdles getting back in sync after 6 years full of changes without throwing baby mama drama in don’t you think?) all right at the start of next season... Don’t forget we all have to wait until next year to finally get answers. Oh yes, these are dark Bellarke times indeed, right on the heels of some great finale scenes.

Bellamy. Its official, he thinks she’s dead. I’m dying, because its happening. This is the start of my nightmare...

I wonder if Bellamy’s heart is aching as much as mine is that she was left behind... Your right, his, because he has no idea if she’s dead or alive.

Bellamy, regretful in, what he thought were, his last moments that he wasn’t with her.

God, he looked like he was walking down death row, and then waiting that last little second to see if she’d walk through the doors... I’m not okay rn.

Yep... Setting up for exactly what I feared most. I don’t like them together... Lets hope for the “and maybe never will” part of that trust statement.

Her face when she decided she was giving up her life for them to make it.

I’m touched and not quite as upset with all her other stupid decisions over the last couple of seasons. She just reminded me why I love her as a heroine.

And the anxiety is taking over... In my mind, I feel the pressure for them all, especially Clarke to make it, even though I basically know how its gonna turn out.

Bellamy telling Clarke she can’t go anywhere because he needs her. Her whole speech to him was amazing and was a basic ‘I love you’ imo.

Oh my gawd, Bellamy brushing Clarke’s hair... He’s so fucking worried about her!! I love them *breaks down sobbing*
