She could hear his heartbeat. It was comforting. She smiled as she started drifting off to sleep.

Jack took the robe, throwing it on after drying off alongside the vampiress. Once dressed, he took her hand, following her down to her kitchen for that promised late night snack.

As they walked down the hallway, a bunch of kittens started following them. One of Valentina’s cats had given birth. The mewed as they went down the stairs. An owl flew over and perched on her grandfather clock.
