Actor Lee Joongi’s unparalleled charm is setting women’s hearts aflutter.
Lee Joongi finds himself at the center of attention for his photoshoot behind-the-scenes photos. In the latest photos, he blends perfectly with the luxurious surroundings, boasting an extraordinary aura.
Seeing Lee Joongi in these behind-the-scenes photos, you might feel like watching some scenes from a movie. First, he looks so relaxed and at ease in the photo where he looks like he’s waiting for something in a navy suit. In a brown suit, on the other hand, he looks extraordinarily chic, captivating our attention. With his luxurious suit look completed with his taut body, he pulls off the concept of the photoshoot in a way that surpasses our imagination, leaving us in awe.
In another photo that catches our attention, with his hand place on the forehead, he looks deep in thought. His deep eyes are filled with a heart-throbbing charm. His nose bridge and jawline as sharp as blades add to Lee Joongi’s own unique charm, creating a compelling vibe.
In these behind-the-scenes, Lee Joongi shows off his handsomeness that cannot be hidden, proving his photogenic skills. Lee Joongi’s luxurious charm, in particular, has earned acclaim that this pictorial is one of his very best.
Meanwhile, Lee Joongi is currently looking for his next project.
Things you have to deal with as a kpop fan: Part 10
Me: *watching a new dance practice*
Them: You've been watching that video for the past 20 minutes, why don't you watch another one?
Me: I need to watch it multiple times to focus on each member!
patrick...?

I've already seen discourse on Twitter about Keanu Reeves and his girlfriend bc apparently, 46 ISN'T age appropriate for a 55 year old man or something and I'm starting to think some people don't understand the discussion about age gap relationships....it's not about age gaps themselves, it's about adults dating people who aren't adults (usually teenagers). But also, 46 and 55 is age appropriate jfc
Yeah bruh it's not the actual gap ffs people, it's the age gap RELATIVE TO THE PEOPLE'S AGES
Let's see some examples:
3 year gap between a 15 and 18 year old: BAD. ILLEGAL. FUCKED UP.
3 year gap between a 30 and 33 year old: they're practically the same age
10 year gap between a 25 and 35 year old: hmm kinda weird, might let it slide, but no.
10 year gap between a 60 and 70 year old: yeah trust me you're good.
9 year gap between a 20 and a 29 year old: let me put this into perspective, person A could be in their second year of college and person b graduated 7 years before. That's weird and they're at INFINITELY different stages in life.
9 year gap between a 46 year old and a 55 year old: they're both middle aged, they're both at the same stage in life, they've probably both have had some sense of stability for a while now and probably no wildly violent life changes like high school/college/first job/first partner have happened in a while. It's FINE.
I thought this explanation would be helpful since we do get a fair number of asks concerning age gaps

Our 2018 Drama Recs
While the rest of the world seems to be stirring in turmoil in more ways than one, 2018 felt like a slow year for new dramas from a personal point of view.
Even though there were anticipated popular shows such as What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim, Legend of Fuyao, there were definitely more misses than hits even for these. Apart from The Story of Yanxi Palace, there was arguably no massively popular drama on the same scale as Goblin or Descendants of the Sun from other parts of the drama world.
Nonetheless, here are some of the gems we’d like to recommend from our own short lists of 2018 shows if you are still looking for some hope in this year’s dramas.
1. Suddenly this Summer 忽而今夏 recommended by Admin JL and JY
Probably the best yet most realistic portrayal of a school romance and the struggles of coming-of-age. No star-studded cast (other than Bai Yu perhaps), no exaggerated and unnecessary angst. But 100% refreshingly wholesome and realistic trials and tribulations of growing up and love.
Be prepared to be doused in innocent and pure sweetness in this show that is wholly underrated and understated for its relatability, feels and commendable cast performance. There’s no doubt in its quality for earning the top-rated Chinese webdrama of 2018. Seriously, please go watch this. (Admin JL: yes, extra bonus points if you adore Bai Yu too. Otherwise, he will make you.)
2. Unexpected 来到你的世界 recommended by Admin JY
If you thought this was W all over again, please be assured IT REALLY IS NOT. While the premise may seem familiar, Unexpected brings unexpected levels meaningfully written reflective perspective of breaking 4th walls and life philosophy. All this while of course remaining true to its core as a hilarious romantic comedy filled with hijinks unique to its premise.
Armed with a strong cast and good characterisations for many characters, the story brings you in unpredictable directions and emotional turns. For a romcom webdrama, this was a pleasantly intelligently written yet exciting and feels-inducing show!
3. Love Destiny บุพเพสันนิวาส (Bpoop Phaeh Saniwaat/Bhupphae Saniwaat) recommended by Admin JL
This is the lakorn of 2018. Not just a popular drama, but a cultural phenomena: it had temporarily cleared Bangkok’s notorious traffic jams, brought back a Thai traditional costume fever/interest in Thai history and culture, elevated the cast to new star statuses, etc etc. The story’s refreshing, quirky, romantic take on Thailand’s own version of transmigration shenanigans had proven to be addictive and lovable by the Bhupphae storm which had taken over Thailand (and also regionally, including Cambodia, China, etc).
If you are new to lakorn, this is a great entry level drama - as it had also win many hearts initially foreign to the country’s productions. A must-watch if you love romcoms with a pinch of history.
4. On Your Wedding Day 너의 결혼식 recommended by Admin JY
Even though I had tried a handful of 2018 kdramas this year, only this K-movie stood out pleasantly for me. Starring familiar faces of Park Bo Young and Kim Yong Kwang, the story is classic and simple yet well done. Despite the short length of movies making romances usually unconvincing to me, this film not only felt unrushed but was also realistic and satisfying in its development. I can only wish more kdramas could execute stories as concisely as this.
5. On Children 你的孩子不是你的孩子 recommended by Admin JY
Okay I technically have not finished this Taiwanese drama series yet. But this still deserves a shoutout not only for being meaningfully written but also amazingly well-produced quality show. With 5 movie-length-long stories, parent-child relationships are given a whole new cinematic definition with sci-fi-esque elements.
Filled with incredible cinematography and purposeful absences in dialogue, each story speaks volumes on the effects of parenting taken to a dramatic extreme. Namely, there are dark horror-esque visuals and lowkey morbid content that begets warning to viewers for potentially triggering content (e.g. suicide). Despite its dramatism, the series still presents a powerful reflection on the realities within many Asian families.
Bonus: Guardian 镇魂 a completely self-indulgent PSA by Admin JL
If you haven’t already heard about this, aka the most influential drama of the year awarded by Weibo - allow me to give it a shoutout.
It is the drama which has redefined the second half of my 2018. A pseudo-scifi(?) mixed with Chinese mythical elements, it was almost completely powered by the oozing chemistry and excellent performance of the leads.
Allow Weilan’s love brotherhood to be etched in your heart. Allow Zhu Yi Long and Bai Yu to sweep you off your feet.
Let us know what your picks for 2018 are!
