Jaqen H'ghar, Faceless Man

"Speak the name, and death will come. On the morrow, at the turn of the moon, a year from this day, it will come. A man does not fly…but one foot moves and then another and one day a man is there, and a king dies."

A very cool character, and a very cool mini. I love the number of accoutrements, odds and ends, bits and bobs he has here- bag, belts, straps, bits of cloth. It really tells a visual story of him picking his way through a war zone, taking what he finds, a skilled assassin living off the land.

For his paint job, I tried to accentuate that, and the binary imagery appropriate to an acolyte of the house of black and white. Obviously his iconic hair, then I gave him a red... sash? scarf?... for his time with team Lannister, but a blue-grey coat so he can blend just as well if he comes across the starks. Combining the two, he has a purple belt, which also shows his true allegiance to Braavos.

The hair, accent, and speech pattern are all very weird when you consider he can take any face he chooses, and has changes available in Westeros. I think Jaqen flunked stealth class at the HoBaW.
