Believe it or not, twenty years ago yesterday @sanfranciscocenterforthebook opened their doors to the bay area #bookarts community. Last night, the exhibit "20/20 Vision" opened, showcasing current trends and ideas in the community, created by emerging book artists. spent part of today at SFCB, getting inspired and talking #artistbooks. It was also the last day of the Hedi Kyle "Biblio Objet" exhibition...what a treat to spend quality time with this A+++ show!

July is International Zine Month! That means you should stop by @artistcraftsmansupply_sf THIS WEDNESDAY (July 13th) for "Zinemaking 101" -- a free workshop I'll be teaching! You'll see examples of some of my fave zines and learn the ins-and-outs of making your own. Attendees leave with a completed zine. 5:30-7:00 pm, free to all!

spent part of the day taking in the Hand Bookbinder's of California exhibition with @lesyaw! The fantastic gem that you see here is a close-up of Bettina Pauly's work -- a tunnel book that was one of my exhibit faves. Thanks to @sfplbookarts for hosting this top notch show!
