Also getting super close to the reunion and then killing yoshiki for a hot minute would be kind of funny

so that extra isn't really a tone setter, I'm thinking weakened hikagoop acting on instinct is immediately going to go for Yoshiki's soul, which might be why Satou thinks she can get the fragment so easily. hikagoop will just kill yoshiki and she can make him feel guilty for doing that

#and then something not established in the story will happen #like hikaru saving the situation somehow through making a wish on himself #or the partial bit of soul remaining that hichi was able to protect and the fragment goop fills in the rest #or hikaru healing yoshiki the way he healed the little girl #also just thinking like if we're going the genie plot then evil genie has to happen near the end #but then again this couldnt happen at the cave because of hichi but maybe he sets his bag down to touch the hikagoop??
