I've been spending like, the last twenty minutes arguing with people on twitter that call Bucky (or like Sebastian) a hypocrite because he said Walker murdered an innocent(? man when Bucky The Winter Soldier murdered waaaay more.

IT'S BEEN YEARS AND THE WHOLE "HE WAS BRAINWASHED AND DIDN'T HAVE ANY CHOICE" ARGUMENT IS STILL HERE? I AM SO TIREDDD

maybe this is just the result of years of stories where a character kills someone and has to justify it with "i had no choice!" even when it's flimsy or self-soothing logic on the part of the character or the narrative...

thus when a character really, truly, actually, absolutely did not have a choice, being literally MIND-CONTROLLED, every "i had no choice" argument just sounds like self-soothing bleating

Finding out that Captain America 3 was originally meant to be a direct sequel the The Winter Soldier and would’ve focused on Steve and Sam’s search for Bucky, with a focus on Steve and Bucky’s relationship, but was scrapped for Civil War because DC released Batman vs Superman has actually ruined my day. Probably my week.

I’m so upset right now, what the hell.

it is what it is.

but seriously, even though i love bucky so fucking much, the mcu wasted him since the start, even when he is one of the most loved characters there. the good thing here is that sebastian is taking really good roles outside marvel and he's gonna thrive, no matter what.
