The cawing indeed would catch Wulzire’s attention and he would look up at the other who was now signing to him. He would let the other finish before slipping the reins around his wrist and replied back with the signing too.
‘I could ask same from you two. Anyways bigger place has much more to offer than a village I will head to next and I’m not that scared of the plaque.’
The smaller dragonborn with his draft horse would keep following the bigger one and while Wulzire didn’t have the best vision he sensed something nearby before Valam was even able to see the source of it which would turn out to be children when they all came closer to them. Seeming to take a look at the house the sister had pointed at, at least judging by how he moved his face more towards it before it turned back to the little siblings.
“…Can you tell what kind of monster it is? How does it look?” Wulzire questioned the children, wanting to know more of this monster they had mentioned.
‘They opened their academy recently, we were hoping to get in, and my my, cocky aren’t we?’ Tweel was fast to reply, a smug little look in his eyes before just shaking his head as if to say ‘tsk, tsk’ at the ‘dragonborn’, though this did not last long before they were in the city and speaking with the children. There would be something odd for Wulzire though, as he wouldn’t feel anything from the children. He simply just could not sense them as he could sense both Valam and Tweel. “We don’t know...” The girl spoke, looking up at Wulzire now, she seemed sad yet also scared as she looked back to the house. “But we can hear it and it’s terrible howls, it has to be a monster” with that the boy, Thorn, hid a little more behind his sister. Both looked scared of their home and even took small steps away. “Please help us” Valam of course was already ready to fight a monster, for these were but children, scared helpless things. “Do you know where it is?” He asked, trying to put on his calmest voice as he knew his natural growl could be alarming. “Our parents kept the monster locked in the basement, trapped” Rose now spoke, at least that gave them a little courage but they would not go back into the house until the monster was slain, or dealt with in any way. Valam now looked back to Wulzire before standing tall, Tweel already knew what was going to happen and pulled out his violin, plucking a few cords to make sure it was tuned correctly, “I’m going in, you may follow if you wish or you may stay out here.” With that Valam started heading towards the house.
