you're literally not, I made a whole post about how this is canon because in season 3b scripts they go on and on about Will worrying about dogs, then when Hannibal says "think about me, don't WORRY about me" it's a reference to this but they cut the dogs line out of most scenes BUT YES THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT THIS MEANS

omg dude I was literally going to make another parallel post with hannibal saying "think about me. don't worry about me" / jack telling will not to worry about the dog when will comes back in S3b and will asking hannibal if he could be happy in prison in mizumono + his hand on the glass of hannibal's cell with his eyes full of sparkly tears / will telling jack, "what do you expect me to do?"
