                     sprawled out on the couch,   nose in his book  ━━━   he’d been anticipating anyone of his friends to engage in conversation with him.   even if they didn’t recognise him━━  a new face at the school usually prompted some reaction.   he saw Wanda approaching out the corner of his eyes  &&  had to bite down on his tongue to stop the shit-eating grin that was about to form.

                      he looked up innocently to her,   listening to her question with his best put-on confused expression.   a few blinks  &&  a shrug were offered.  ❛  those are sure some very… hard to miss features…  ❜   he began,   doing his best to disguise his voice for now.   his accent would’ve been a giveaway for sure.    ❛   ━━ ━  can’t say I have seen either of those people,   sorry…    ❜    

                     well… it technically WASN’T a lie.   he hadn’t seen Peter yet today  &&  the only reflection he’d seen was that of his new disguise…

something seemed OFF --- but then again, something ALWAYS seemed off to wanda. seeing as reality could be interchanged it made her a little skeptical of all that crossed her path. 

❝ you don’t happen to either want a tour of the school or know anything about math, do you? i’ve looked everywhere for peter and kurt in hopes i could hang out with them instead of STUDYING. but as you see my attempts have been far from successful. ❞

that could be a good excuse: sorry, couldn’t study, had to show the new kid around school.

      SHE LISTENS TO EACH fact as it comes, eyes widening at the familiarity of it all. “ That is… that is quite the story. Especially since my name is Wanda Maximoff and I AM the scarlet witch. ” The were some similarities but the girl was not of her world, there was only one  Wanda Maximoff in this dimension. She never went to the school that so many mutants did. “ I think I can understand the difficulties of your powers more than anyone else. ”
