Kaituna Hills 2014, Marlborough

Color: olive’ish white

Nose: seasoned hay, citrus, gooseberry

Taste: intense ripe acidity with some dull finish - fruit is not that attractive - rather flatt or covered with some dust. Typical Marlborough gooseberry fruitiness.

Petit Chablis Domain d'Elise 2013

Color: greeny white Nose: hay, citrus,  milk Taste: delicate, round, silky, mineral and veggie. Nice finish as for Chablis. Overall: 9/10

Chateau du Champs des Greilles 2012

Color: olive pale straw Nose: milky herbs balanced with citrus Taste: long. Begins with light non acid balanced cristal experience. After that there's a ripe grape kick-in. 3rd part is a nice finish surfing on an apple acid that reveals some lime minerality. Overall rating: 9/10

Probably some semillon, chardonnay and something more.

Chablis Louis Jadot 2014

Color: pale water Nose: bricky mineral citrus Taste: delicate minerality. Close to an apple juice with some citrus and ground notes. Definetly fresh and light. The sourness could be lighter as for such a happy Chablis. Overall rating: 8.7/10

Meo Camuzet Frere & Soeurs 2011, Pinot Noir

Color: quite light as for pinot with pink reflexes. The border of the glass didnt show different colour so the wine is still young

Nose: soury flowers

Taste: Flowery, soury and fruity. Nice tannin punch at the end. The character reminds the peony or tulip flowers. Very stylish.

Very nice and classy Bourgogne from a good year (2005, 2009, 2010, 2011)

Color: pale white

Nose: fennel and old ship cask and pickled cucumber

Taste: mineral, absolute lack of acid. Lack of tannines. Awesome.

Schlos Gobelsburg 2008, Riesling

Nose: pineapplish pineapple Taste: riesling at it’s best - does seem like a 2008 (7 years old at the time of tasting). Seems to be classy - almost fresh. Overall rating: 8.5/10

Chassagne Montrachet 2010, Charles Thomas

Nose: dried plum Color: goldy Taste: light minerality, dried plum body, smoked fruits. Fire pit. Overall rating: 9/10

Chateau de gerons 2012

Color: undefined (really) Nose: citrus, wet forest, flowers, ripe Taste: full bodied, delicate acidity - silky minerality. Butter and fruits. Overall rating: 9/10

Turnau 2014 Solaris

Color: watery pale Nose: very light citrus Taste: Balanced - tannines are not too harsh, not too much of sourness and the acid that's left is really round and nice. Good minerality without foxy notes. Not too much fruit - the wine is rather mineral and short. Some semillon'ish buttery floweriness on the (short) end. Overall rating: 7.5/10

Petit Chablis 2013, La Chablisienne

Color: silver pale

Nose: not to veggie'ish - citrus and minerals

Taste: very delicate acidity. Nice refreshing minerliaty. Very refreshing. Young but noble and balanced.

Chablis 2012, Emil Durand

Color: usual chablisienne color Nose: delicate citrus and veggie Taste: fresh and balanced. Very spiky acid with a sweet fruity note. Doesn’t seem to be a 1er cru but still - very good example of chablisness.

Höger 2013, Zweigelt

Color: cristal red - looks like it was strongly filtered Nose: groundy peppery vanilla Taste: ripe and young. Grape with some scent of groundy Foxy notes that belong to zweigelt. Generally - berries! Raw and fresh - soiled by zweigeltiness but still fun to drink. Good table wine.

Yume 2011, Montepulciano D’Abruzzo

Color: dark violet/red

Nose: vanilla cherry citrus - oak?

Taste: rather tannic and sour but on reasonable level - good for spaghetti with sour tomato! More nosy than mouthy. Sourness kills the fruit but does not damage it in any way. Would be better young and fresh. The ripeness is too murky tho - prolly because it’s 2011. Overall rating: 8.2/10

Mount Franklin sauvignon blanc 2014 marlborough

Color: pale white’ish

Nose: herbal tail of the fox . Lil bit of veltliner - typical goosberish thing for Marlborough.

Taste: apple acidity - lil bit too harsh. Young. Ripe Gooseberry.

Cordero di montezemolo, nebbiolo 2013

Color: strawberry ruby Nose: strawberry Taste: cold balanced RAW and fresh. Straight refreshing minerality acts as a perfect base for a red ripe fruit. Acidity is lime'ish. It doesn't have any unpleasant aftertaste. Lil bit too alcoholic. Jubilee grape. Overall rating: 8.7/10

Szeleshat 2011, Pinot Noir

Color: dark ruby pinotish Nose: nuts,  dust, red fruits Taste: delicate round and harsh in the bottom. Quite acidous. Overall rating: 7.5/10
