is it just me or are splatfests not fun anymore

ok im not entirely sure how to word this so im sorry if this sounds rude/mean/etc. but,

splatfests are only fun if you engage with them in a fun way. if youre playing to win, you WONT have fun. if youre playing to have a good time, then there's a better chance that you'll have a lot of fun. playing with friends also leads to a lot more fun in my experience. losing a lot can be discouraging but paying attention to your victories and losses and valuing your participation based on that did not lead to good results for me and i dont recommend thinking like that.

relax. get silly. try out goofy strategies, new weapons, anything to make the experience more interesting and more engaging. theres a lot of flaws with splatfest but being able to have a good time with friends isnt one of them, usually.
