I sorta hate it when people are all like “fuck the comp scene they make the game unfun” Like, guys, come on. Are people not allowed to enjoy the game the way they want to play it? Also, what do you know about the comp scene? Have you ever played in a tournament before? Do you know what it’s actually like?

i want splatoon 4 to have more unique npc designs in the hub. i am TIRED of the jellyfish everywhere. it feels really out of place when you see all these unique creatures in the shops and in the bands but everywhere else is just jellies. I think marigold/staff was a step in the right direction, but i want to take about 100 more steps.

Splatoon has a problem where the main characters aren't characters, I hope that in splatoon raiders "the mechanic" has a set unchangeable look (not counting clothes though)

I cannot for the life of me take anyone who uses “the tribe” as some sort of silver bullet seriously. You’re actually going to pull up a piece of concept art tucked into the corner of a page from the back of the book, with nothing dating it, and completely lacking the new idols with the figures seemingly in their place looking nothing like any of Shiver and Frye’s concept art and also straight up missing Big Man, and act like it instantly proves a flimsy argument about the games development? Because all that just makes it seem like an extremely early mock up of what the key art could look like when all they knew about the new game’s story mode was Mr Grizz’s involvement. By bringing it up all you are doing is making it obvious you know nothing of what you speak.

I don't like the Coroika manga for it's humor, it's just not for me. But I really like it's art style and it's characters. I'm afraid to post anything I write or draw about said characters because I have pretty much made them my own OCs at this point and I know someone super into Coroika will see it and I don't want to make anyone mad.

holiday splatfest ink ranked from least to most edible. yes i am serious. 5: grand fest. probably tastes like oil ewww 4: splatoween. its giving fake artificial dye 3: frostyfest. i bet it tingles on the tongue like bottle caps candy 2: summer nights. SODA!!!!!!!!! 1: springfest: that's frosting. that is literally cake frosting with sprinkles.

i got into splatoon with 3 and after getting hyper fixated i decided to play all the previous story modes after rotm, and honestly after beating octo expansion my reaction was just “that was it? thats the story mode the fandom parades up and down as if its the best thing of all time?” i just do not get the hype oe only really works if you were there when it happened, after that its nothing special

I have legitimately not played a turf match in months, I still get surprised at Aura showing up in clips or thinking it's a special. I just can't deal with how sweaty some players are in the casual mode. I've been hiding in Salmon Run and Side Order because I can't handle other players mentally right now

People really overthought the recent artwork not having Deep Cut as if Deep Cut aren’t the ones getting their own fucking game as a major Switch 2 exclusive. Like the devs clearly like Deep Cut if they’re being used for that. Atp i feel like the fandom’s just looking for any delulu reason to cling to and hope the devs never acknowledge 3 again

Despite loving grand fest I will admit I think the outfits were pretty lame. Nothing screams "Chaos" more than outfits in a weird gray colour. Lmao

Don't ask for a splatoon 4 if you can't even handle the franchise as it stands, because saying that splatoon should go full single player all because the main point of the game just makes you that angry GENUINELY makes me question how much of the fandom even likes splatoon anymore.
