Do you take requests for cc?

-I take suggestions! I make no promises, but I’ll definitely look into anything that’s suggested to see if it’s within my skill set and I have the time and interest to do it. The only thing I’m mostly likely to say no to are outfits, as they take a lot of work and I’m still not particularly skilled at making them.

What tools do you use?

-Ninja Ripper (the free version) to extract assets from the game, Noesis to view them, Blender to edit the meshes, Photoshop to edit the textures, and Sims4Studio to put them in the game.

Would you make a tutorial?

-Probably not! I’m still pretty new at making cc (and using blender) so I’m not the best to teach, but if you have a specific question I’m happy to try and help or point you in the right direction.

What other cc do you use?

-A lot! If you want to know what a specific cc is, just shoot me an ask or a message and I’ll do my best to link it.

Interesting so:

After developing new Dungeons for Guild Wars Reforged and seeing their success, they're now trying a new (unknown) form of content soon to come

After VoE they're taking a break from expansion content for Guild Wars 2 until Guild Wars 3 has released. Then they are returning to Annual Major Content updates for GW2.

During the break after VoE finishes they plan to spend an entire year to go through each area of the game to make 'meaningful improvements'

They're updating the Zhaitan fight in the personal story??

We're getting a GW2 New Orr map and it is a 'Core game addition, free for all to play'

Nightfang griffon from Guild Wars 2

I finally finished painting this polymer clay sculpture of a Nightfang Griffon from the mmo Guild Wars 2

The sculpture itself and the back of the frame are made out of Cosclay, the frame itself is made from Acrystal

This one is fully painted with acrylics, with some gold wax details to give the frame an aged look

I wanted to showcase the details of new armor, and I did it while crying. This chest piece is so cool looking, but also so complicated...

Gnom in the hood down looks very cute. (If you ignore that he's 31.) And tossing gyros to battle like pokemons is canon. Honestly, explaining why he has "throwing knives" and adding my favorite gyros I mostly use (the ones with stars), in his armor design got me thinking how exactly his skills work. I run both grenade and bomb kits and I have no idea where the endless supply comes from. He may have an over-engineered backpack for all of that, as far as I'm concerned.

Gonna cut that rambling with an up-to-date reference sheet.

Funny enough, after I drew all that armor, I still think that crafting outfit is my favorite. Imma only draw him in war attire when I wanna feel extra pain or make something really epic.

this is what he looks like from the side! The horns are entirely painted on the face paint. The cat tail is just a clothing item I got lol.

The horns, fur, and nose are all painted on with the face paint category with the option to paint under the face selected, so that way he can still have expressive eyes and a working mouth!

finally getting somewhere with this. transparency in the sims, you are my nemesis.

I might have to try intelGPA again to rip because ninjaripper seems to have this unique problem where sometimes meshes are separated in such a weird way that makes it so annoying to reconnect them.

Like...

The hair is separated into two pieces, the first got imported fine with the rest of the models meshes, but the second piece is off to the side and rotated differently. And maybe im stupid (i am) but I can never rotate it just right to make it fit again like a puzzle piece, I always have to get each part of the separated piece close enough before manually pulling the edges together.

I'm pretty sure this is unique to ninja ripper, or it's just gw2's fault, cuz it hasn't happened with other games I've ripped from. And it seems to always happen to pieces that have a lot of transparent parts.

anyway just putting this out there in case anyone using ninjaripper for gw2 also encounters this issue! and please god let me know if you find a real fix lol.

Hi! Sorry to bother you, but I have a question... would you ever consider porting other GW2 assets, or rather human hairstyles?

Like this one? (I'm new to making mods myself, and even then I'm actually trying to make mods for a different game, but many Sims hairstyles work for Dragon Age, so I was hoping someone ported this already and try it out... but from what I can see, you are the only one (?) making GW2 mods, hence why I thought it couldn't hurt to ask.) Your Sylvari look fantastic, by the way. Wish I could mod as well as you!

I have thought about it! But from what I’ve seen of gw2’s human and nord hairstyles, they use transparency in their textures and I’m still learning how to make that work in the sims.

Transparency in the sims is weird so i tend to avoid it but I do need to learn how to do it eventually, so I’ll keep this hair in mind to try it!

as both a gw2 and sims player i am DELIGHTED by your sylvari cc!! ty SO much for the conversions! also, if it's not too much trouble to ask, would it be possible for you to make the demon masque (necro character creation option) skin? probably just the human/norn/possibly sylvari versions as theyre the Humanoid ones, no pressure though! ty for the work you've already done, have a wonderful day!!

I looked into the demon masque, and unfortunately it won’t be as quick and easy as I hoped (at least not the norn version, I haven’t looked at the human or sylvari ones yet) but I have added it to my list!
