John Boyega is a HERO

John Boyega is one of the bravest people out there. He put everything on the line to speak out against racism. He used his platform to explicitly say where he stands, which is more than a lot of other people do. He said with his whole chest that racists can go fuck themselves and that he doesn’t want their support.

He stood against racism when he was cast as the male lead and co-protagonist in the sequel trilogy.

He stood with his co-star Daisy Ridley through all of harrasment she went through and supported her emotionally through the years as her friend. 

He stood against the hate Kelly Marie Tran and said she had deserved better while being her friend though it all.

He stood with Oscar in wanting more representation in Star Wars and always spoke his mind on it.

He started a production company, UpperRoom Productions, to give people who wouldn’t normally be given a shot at making it, a fighting chance. 

He stood against racism again when the blue check marks came after him for critizing TLJ on how his character Finn and Kelly’s Rose deserved better.

He stood against it again when he called out the toxicty surrounding Lucasfilm and the toxic people in the community who were coming after him for it.

And as of recently, he signed a deal with Netflix to promote films that will focus on West and East Africa.

Now he did it again by speaking out against the murder of George Floyd by the Minneapolis Police Department. 

John Boyega has always been speaking the truth and he’s put everything on the line time and time again. 

John Boyega is a damn hero and everyone should know that.
