anyway i'm still writing asks on my multimuse but i needed a break so we're writing the endings for frederick that aren't canon

semi-related to that last post but, while frederick would be incredibly proud and happy if his kids became knights like him, he also won't... be disappointed if they don't. he'll still be just as proud and happy for them if they follow a different path. he's more inclined towards knighthood by default just because that's what he personally chose and has known for so long, but he understands that's not everyone's path in life. if his kids don't seem into the idea of being a knight, that's fine; he'll still be there for them and try to engage in their interests even if he doesn't know very much about them.

you want to be a mage? he doesn't have an ounce of magic talent or knowledge in his body, but he'll try to go find you books to study from. you want to be an apothecary? he'll go talk to stahl and see if he has anything to help you out. frederick just wants to support his kids.

#frederick's an overbearing dad at times but not in a 'this is your path in life get used to it' kind of way #or a 'snoops through your phone' kind of way #it's more so 'texts you 6 times a day to make sure you took your meds/didn't forget your lunch because he worries about you'#(headcanons.)
