Hate is a strong word, I wouldn’t say that. I would say I form an opinion rather quickly, and tend to trust my instinct. If someone’s giving me bad vibes, they’re giving me bad vibes. I’m also usually right when it comes to my instincts.

Honestly, if we’re talking about Rodolphus, he doesn’t deserve anyone good. He is not a good person, I think him and Azkaban make the perfect pairing, if I’m honest. So, really anyone with a good heart? And also his brother, because yikes, no incest for me.

For someone who graduated over 10 years ago, Rabastan still quite enjoyed spending time in Hogsmeade, even if he didn’t live or work anywhere near. That night, he was scribbling notes down on a parchment in a corner of The Three Broomsticks, and to anyone who tried to take a peek at what he was writing, the words would only seem like gibberish, all thanks to a quite useful charm. It was while taking a glance up to see if the waitress was coming with his drink that he instead found a more than familiar figure coming his way. “Brother. I didn’t expect to see you here.”

It wasn’t often Rodolphus found himself sitting among commoners, even if LIQUOR was promised. Yet, there he was, after a brief conversation with their mum, he agreed to pay Rabastan a visit, easily finding him at the Three Broomsticks. “ And here I thought you’d be a TAD more thrilled to see me, brother, after all, I’m risking MERLIN knows what kind of filth contaminating me by just stepping foot inside this place.” He grimaced as he took a seat, adjusting the collar of his suit as he snapped for the waitress to come back.

Honestly, music has always helped me get inside the head of characters that I’m creating. I love making playlists that suggest mood, tone or even just certain emotions. It’s sort of like a musical mood board. Music takes you somewhere instantly, to a place that’s beyond words.

amycus had never been a people person, nor would he ever be one. he collected a circle of close knitted acquaintances he got along with and saw of value, but never would he go as far to care or call many friends. he had his sister, and his family and to him, that was more than enough in terms of close relations. though, at work, you might never believe him to be as despicable as he was outside, quickly managing to climb the social ladder at work, gaining a high position at st. mungo’s. he was pleased with it, and despite having no interest in it was excellent at healing people and gaining the trust of those around him where needed. he had some of the staff wrapped around his perfectly manicured fingers, running his errands at the snap of his fingers. it was almost too good. 

but, still, despite this, the days ended in him being exhausted and the last thing he wanted to do was go home and be greeted by his mother throwing wedding planning in his face. it didn’t interest him. he’d show up, do what needed to be done, but beyond that, he trusted his mother’s taste and didn’t care much beyond keeping up his image and forming a connection with a high profile family. that is, and was always apart of his life. something he’d never cared much about, at that. 

so, now he sat at the bar of hogs head, waiting on someone to bring his order while scanning the place for something to entertain him enough to keep his groggy mind awake. but just as he started to turn away to join a group towards the corner, the shriek of a stool interrupted his train of thought and movement. 

“ they really do need to invest in new stools here, or at the very least clean them.” he commented, turning back towards the source.
