I need to just have a little rant about webvirus (Folly x Melanie) and just get this all off my chest

Now I ship Webvirus and tbh I only think its problematic in the current point we are at in the timeline (so Jan 2025 for whenever this gets posted)

I think it's cute with like Dreamer x Melanie (Webcure) and that's non problematic and like an au or something that takes place in the future were Folly had gotten therapy and his coping in a more healthy way

Hell if you still want your toxic yuri just ship them pre-Melanie death that's a very unhealthy but not necessarily Abuser x Abused dynamic depending on how you see their past dynamic

Also current Webvirus is so much funnier if you imagine Folly pinning for Melanie and looking over at her trembling and just internally screaming with "OH FUCKKK I FUMBLED THE BAG SOO HARD OHHHHH"

Bonus points if you hc that Melanie knew Folly when she was Dreamer and Dreamer had a crush on her

Also Dreamer x Melanie is so peak and I wish to see more of that ship

Sorry for the slightly long rant there are just definitely ways to ship them (and ship them as toxic yuri) without it being a proship and super problematic

tldr: Current timeline Webvirus is one of the only problematic versions of this ship and Dreamer x Melanie is just so much better
