Mermay: Dancy Edition

I FINISHED IT!!!! Honestly, I wasn't sure if I was going to, but I'm really happy I did!

I decided to throw out my perfectionism when making this piece and "lazily" rendered it. I say lazily because I didn't spend as much time as I usually would with it. Tho, I gotta say, I'm really proud of how this piece turned out!

That being said, uhhhh DanCy Mermaid AU??? It being "Mermay" and all, I kinda wanted to actually draw something a little related to that. I would have drawn my actually mermaid OC but I haven't finished her design yet T-T Maybe at a different date I will

I like the idea tho of Daniel being a random sailor who happens to meet Cy and Cy is just immediately wanting to get to know him more. I dunno, something more sweet then their actually story lmao. I swear whenever I think of AUs between these two it just makes me feel bad because their real story is so much worse. That being said, will this AU ever go anywhere? We'll have to see

I do plan on trying to make this into a full fletched piece but I do gotta prioritize other stuff at the moment. I have way too many art projects started

Anyways, I decided to get badly sick apparently but hey! It allowed my creativity ability to skyrocket so that's something at least lmao. Well, that and probably a mix of playing Tomodachi Life 2... I've been having too much making my OCs in that game lmao.

Regardless, this was a cute idea I had for these two OCs who I want to draw more often now, Pillow and Sal (pronounced like Saul or S-AW-L.) I'm loving Pillow's new outfit. Mostly probably because I don't have to draw a flannel but y'know. Also I never draw Sal, I'm starting to realize that now. Which sucks because he is such a fun character. He is technically an antagonist in my story, but we can gloss over that for right now lmao

These are the same character btw. This is Daniel but the first is when he's like 19-20 ish while the second is when he's 33-ish... he's been through a lot lmao

Also, in my story's universe, there's a branch of the military called the NSPD which specializes in handling magic and the supernatural. Think of it like a police force but specifically for regulating magic amongst humans, animals, and plants. Random lore stuff

And here is a bunch of little chibi's of Scattered Truths' characters. I'm hoping to have full bodies of all of them in the next few weeks but... we'll see. Someone's gotta bully me so I have more motivation lmao /lh /j

I'm happy that I'm breaking my same face syndrome tho. I had it really bad for quite a bit but didn't really notice it until like the end of last year.

Another note, Merick and Jala are married. Any other character on this with the same last name are siblings/family. Just thought I'd mention that

Main Sona Reference Sheet

Gotta start on the ref sheet grind for artfight because... it's getting closer than I'm ready for lmao.

I really gotta stop redesigning characters lmao. I'm also getting prepared as the comic me and some friends have been working on is getting back into production. So yee, I don't have a ton of news quite yet as its a little early to fully hype up for The Long Run again, but I promise y'all we are getting some where.

Image 1) Just a bunch of random busts of some of my other important characters for Scattered Truths. I was trying to figure out their face shapes and break my same face syndrome lmao. I think I've gotten a lot better at it now thankfully.

Ignore how late this piece is from Valentine's Day, but I drew Cy and Daniel again because they're adorable. I'm really proud of the rendering on this piece ngl (especially the hair and faces.)

2026 Meet The Artist

Hello there people of the internet, I'm still Lazy lmao and I've made an updated meet the artist as I am still getting older.

Random side note, I got a new puppy last year so I had to add another dog to my meet the artist lmao. Her name is Creme Puff. She's also the pure essence of chaos because golden retrievers are just like that ig.

It's been a bit since I've posted and I'm pretty sure I've said that in the last two posts I have made on this account o_O .... but that's besides the point lmao. Regardless, I'm... kind of back? I took a bit of a hiatus from posting or even interacting with socials as it gave me time to think about how and what I wanted to post. So, expect a more casual approach from now on as I'm realizing that's just the kind of guy I am. ^‿^
