Really should have started on ArtFight prep sooner but it's alright lmao. I hope to get more done but at the very least, I do have a full body of every character I want on ArtFight this year done. So, yipee.

Obviously my first refs are of the characters I really want art of this year. Especially Jace, he's so under loved ngl (from me as well unfortunately T-T) I'm really happy with how these turned out!

Next up will probably be Pillow, Sal, and Jala. Again, we'll just have to see how many I can finish before July

Mermay: Dancy Edition

I FINISHED IT!!!! Honestly, I wasn't sure if I was going to, but I'm really happy I did!

I decided to throw out my perfectionism when making this piece and "lazily" rendered it. I say lazily because I didn't spend as much time as I usually would with it. Tho, I gotta say, I'm really proud of how this piece turned out!

Jace!

I tend to draw Cy and Daniel a lot for things but I thought I'd draw Jace this time for pride as he's acearo! I feel like I don't see a lot of acearo rep around, but I could be wrong. Plus I just really wanted to draw Jace

I really love the pose tho. I need to draw him more honestly, he's such an underrated character of mine in general. Also, it's kinda funny that his usual color palette/outfit is oddly similar to the acearo flag already lmao

That being said, uhhhh DanCy Mermaid AU??? It being "Mermay" and all, I kinda wanted to actually draw something a little related to that. I would have drawn my actually mermaid OC but I haven't finished her design yet T-T Maybe at a different date I will

I like the idea tho of Daniel being a random sailor who happens to meet Cy and Cy is just immediately wanting to get to know him more. I dunno, something more sweet then their actually story lmao. I swear whenever I think of AUs between these two it just makes me feel bad because their real story is so much worse. That being said, will this AU ever go anywhere? We'll have to see

I do plan on trying to make this into a full fletched piece but I do gotta prioritize other stuff at the moment. I have way too many art projects started

That being said, hopefully I'll have most of if not all of my character line-up done by next week. It just takes forever cause I have too many characters T^T

The first image btw is inspired by something Pillow and Jace did in my Tomodachi Life game. Just two bros chilling and enjoying the sun. They're adorable, I love them

I just realized I've been drawing Pillow a lot more than usual. Which is good because literally all I ever draw is Cy and Daniel... which I did also draw in these doodles but ignore that /silly

These are the same character btw. This is Daniel but the first is when he's like 19-20 ish while the second is when he's 33-ish... he's been through a lot lmao

Also, in my story's universe, there's a branch of the military called the NSPD which specializes in handling magic and the supernatural. Think of it like a police force but specifically for regulating magic amongst humans, animals, and plants. Random lore stuff

And here is a bunch of little chibi's of Scattered Truths' characters. I'm hoping to have full bodies of all of them in the next few weeks but... we'll see. Someone's gotta bully me so I have more motivation lmao /lh /j

I'm happy that I'm breaking my same face syndrome tho. I had it really bad for quite a bit but didn't really notice it until like the end of last year.

Another note, Merick and Jala are married. Any other character on this with the same last name are siblings/family. Just thought I'd mention that

My boy Cyyy

I love him so much and I'm happy I've finally got a design for him that I actually am just content with. So yeah, study character design a little bit. It can be helpful.

I'm still trying to figure out how I wanna draw animals but I'm sure that will come to me eventually lmao

If you're curious, his dogs' names are Motto and Sken. (Motto has the blue collar, top left. Sken is in the bottom right)

Belated Valentine's Day Piece

Ignore how late this piece is from Valentine's Day, but I drew Cy and Daniel again because they're adorable. I'm really proud of the rendering on this piece ngl (especially the hair and faces.)

Also goofy after of this piece. Daniel isn't always the smartest of the cast lmao.

These two are so goofy honestly. I need to share more art of them (ignore that they are the only characters I draw... we don't gotta talk about that lmao)
