rebekah is divorce from tvd & to canon. i place her squarely within the universe originally created in the novels. that being said, i have no issue interacting with show blog, there will just have to be plotting involved.
my rebekah, much like her show version, is consumed with the idea of finding love. she is a romantic first and foremost. so much so that her very long un-life is filled with hopeless and tragic love stories. she has worn many faces throughout history in the pursuit of love: including semi-historical/historical characters that may be referenced.
rebekah's passion for love goes hand and hand with her desire for power. while the first 1000 or so of her un-life was spent as a pawn for the political machinations of her " brothers " ( niklaus & elijah), she is formidable in her own right. i personally struggle with the idea of compulsion, and will most likely not use it. rather, rebekah's years and years of experience will be what makes her a both a formidable foe and a strong ally.
i can almost guarantee you that in any thread / prompt , rebekah will attempt to manipulate your muse. i can almost almost guarantee that she will lie or twist truths in order to hold some sort of sway over your muse. that's the type of character she is. that's what has kept her around this long. it's nothing personal. it's just rebekah.
