Wanted to draw this even if it was too late for the 6th day.

Pic: Asgore awakes Undyne to congratulate her on some happy event (acceptance to Royal Guard, advancement), or just to say Happy B-day to her and be the first to do so. Undyne (teenager; lives with goat parents) is still half-asleep and has no idea what happens, but she knows the King has a lot of work and if he’s (dressed a bit slovenly and wears a crown on a head yet; looks like he was in a hurry to come) here and pets her hair and hugs her, then something good has occured. Well, you can’t just reject King’s hugs.

It took twice more time than the previous day though I’m happy with the result (the faces and the background especially). Hope, you like it too (⁄ ⁄•⁄ω⁄•⁄ ⁄)

Know it's the week of Undyne but I wanted to draw the cute little bean to celebrate it too. I believe, it could have happened some time ago as well.

The inspiration came from this wonderful sketch (´｡• ᵕ •｡`)

What I really like in Undyne are her energy and positivity. So here she is, cheerful and ready for a fight (or training). Being still inspired, I accidently wrote something. I'm not sure about the format but somehow it... suits her(?).

WHEN?: July 3-8! WHERE?: This blog! WHAT IS IT?: A week just for fish appreciating, featuring a prompt each day for writers and artists to expand on. I will also just be accepting random art or stories that people would like to have featured here for appreciating Undyne! HOW CAN I PARTICIPATE?: The easiest way to participate is to post your entry for each day and @ me (undyne-appreciation) in the post so that I can sniff it out and reblog it! Another way to participate is to tag the post “undyne appreciation week!” and I can go sniff that out too. WHY????: Because Undyne is FANTASTIC!! (and also I’m celebrating my reaching her debut chapter in the Undertale graphic novel but that’s less important.) ANY RULES?: Well, a few. 1. Just gotta appreciate the friendship between Undyne and Papyrus. They’re the absolute best. ✨DAY FIVE: I CRY FOR MY FISH BABBY DAILY💦 For such an overzealous and energetic character, Undyne generates a L O T of feels in certain scenarios. Tell me in pictures or words all about the scenario that hurts your heart the most. (for me it’s that moment as she dies in the Genocide run… ah geez.) ✨DAY SIX: CHERISH THIS FISH!!! CHERISH HARDER!!!!!!! Whatever you want, basically. Appreciate that fish!!
