2 days left before Valentines Day and you still don’t know what gift you will give to your boyfriend so you went to your friend for some advice. “Ruto, as my bestfriend slash male friend, what do you think the best gift I can give to Jeongwoo as a Valentine’s gift?”
“I don’t know but one thing’s for sure. It sounds cringy but I know your presence itself will be a great gift for him.” Haruto said that made you think that he has a point. “I can’t believe I heard that from you.” you slightly slapped his back and laughed.
“I swear. If only you’re not my bestfriend..” Haruto tilted his head and you widen your eyes waiting for what he’ll say next. “What?” you asked. “I would’ve kicked you in the shin.” he continued and as what he said, you granted his wish by slightly kicking his shin. “Jeongwoo.”
You turned your head quickly and as soon as you saw Jeongwoo, you hurriedly went to his arms. “I’ve been looking for you.” he said while carressing your back. “Oh, right! I promised to watch you play. I’m sorry, I had to ask Haruto some questions about our test for next week.” you apologized with a pout.
With that, Jeongwoo wasn’t able to control himself and slowly leaned down to you when Haruto came to the rescue and whispered, “Hey, pal. You were about to kiss your girlfriend with a strict parent so just to remind you, we’re in school right now and just ‘cause her father is not here, there's quite a lot of eye witnesses here that could possibly see what you were about to do.” Haruto finished his speech and dragged Jeongwoo out of your classroom then you at your seat.
“Thank you.” you whispered as Haruto sat on his seat just right in front of you.

The bell rang indicating that lunch break is over so students ran over their classroom. “Good afternoon, class.” your English teacher greeted as soon as she entered the room.
While the teacher is writing on the board, you wrote Haruto a note asking if he can come along with you after school to look for a gift. Yes, you still insist on giving Jeongwoo a gift even if it’s a small thing.
After the class ended, Haruto turned around to face you and said, “Okay fine. I’ll come with you. Better think of an excuse to your boyfriend.”

“What kind of excuse did you say to Jeongwoo that convinced him?” Haruto asked as you enter the mall. “I didn’t tell him anything. He texted me first that he won’t be able to walk me home today because he has something important to do.”
“That’s good. So what kind of gift are you thinking about?” Haruto asked.
“Not sure yet but even if it’s a small thing, I’m sure it would be alright, right?”
“Just like I told you, for Jeongwoo, your presence itself is a bonus already.” Haruto answered and rolled his eyes.
“Okay, I got it. You are the one that has experience with relationship between us and you couldn’t handle those kind of words.” you shook your head and pointed a store to Haruto. “Will you find something in a guitar store?” Haruto confusingly asked.
“Jeongwoo has started learning how to play the guitar a few weeks ago. How about a guitar pick? As far as I know, he still doesn’t have one and I heard it’ll be a good help.”
“I say that’s the one. Let’s go.” you grabbed Haruto by the arms and hurriedly entered the store. “Good afternoon. What can I help you with?” you looked at Haruto and saw him gesturing for you to say what you need. “I’ll just look around and go get what you need.” He patted your back and went around the store.
“Oh, yes! Thank you for asking. I’m wondering if you could help me look for a guitar pick?” you asked the store lady. “For sure. I’ll lead you to the way.”
When you arrived at the cashier front, the staff pulled out some samples of the guitar picks they have. “They can easily be stolen so they’re placed here in the cashier.”
“That’s smart. So um, I’m not good at this but does it matter what kind of guitar pick to use? Because the one I’ll be giving it to is a beginner.”
“No, it doesn’t matter as long as they can use it.” you nod your head to indicate that you understood what she said and went through the guitar picks.
After picking a guitar pick Jeongwoo might like, you paid for it and called Haruto. “What about you? Won’t you look for a gift for your special one, Mr. Heartthrob? Oh right! You don’t need to because those stalkers of you will be the one to give you.” you teased Haruto.
“Are you mocking me right now? If only I’m seeing someone right now.” Haruto answered and walked quickly with his long legs. You laughed at how your bestfriend reacted and quickly ran to him. You pinched his side and said, “I’m just kidding, stupid. But seriously asking, are you not over her yet?” you asked.
“Yes and no? I don’t know. It’s been months and I still couldn’t find an answer to that damn question.” you said and pat his back for reassurance.
“It’s fine, you don’t need to force yourself. Come, I’ll treat you to your favorite. Noodles!”

It sucks how Valentines day this year is a Monday so you and Jeongwoo arranged a date together on Sunday night instead.
“I saw your missed call. Good thing I was just around and decided to come here. Why’d you call?” Haruto asked as he sat down your bed. “I might need some hands on what to wear for tonight.” you asked and starts to put some of your dresses on your bed. “What kind of date will you be having though?”
“He said it will just be on their apartment’s rooftop. He made sure to ask permission.” While you and Jeongwoo were discussing where to go, you couldn’t decide the right one so that left you on a rooftop date. “Good for him, they’re the owner of that apartment.”
“So,” you grabbed your final picks, one blue dress with butterfly prints on the skirt part and one plain pink long dress, and asked, “What do you think is a better dress between these two?” Haruto looked and scanned both dress.
“I think this one will work. I’m also betting Jeongwoo’s jaw will drop once he sees you on it.” Haruto said and you mouthed ‘Thank you’ to him.

When you arrived on Jeongwoo’s apartment, you went straight to the rooftop and there you see the floor full of rose petals leading you to the table.
You walked and when you arrived in front of the table, you sensed Jeongwoo’s presence so you turned around and there he is, standing so handsome with flower bouquet on his hands. What Haruto said was right, he stood still for a minute after looking at me from head to toe.
“Hey, beautiful.” He said as soon as he arrived in front of you. Your heart fluttered though you see him everyday, which you will never get tired of. “Hi, handsome.” you greeted back and gave him a peck on the cheeks.
He gave you the flower bouquet and held on the chair for you to sit on. “Our menu for today is both our favorite.” He said and opened the lid revealing the dish placed on the table. “Medium rare steak.” you giggled. “Let’s dig in.” he said and gestured to start eating. “Wow, this really hits the spot.” you said when you took the first bite and Jeongwoo nod agreeing to what you said.
After you two finished eating, you helped Jeongwoo moved the table to the side. “You really did so much effort on decorating the rooftop for tonight, huh. I’m more than impressed.” you said and you both sat down on the bag sofa Jeongwoo prepared. “I’ll go first with the gift giving.” you offered and reached out for your gift.
You handed out the box to Jeongwoo and when he opened it, “Oh wow,” he exclaimed. “Do you like it?” you asked with worries in your voice. “Are you kidding me? I love it! I’ve been thinking of getting one and you beat me into it. Thank you.” he answered and rushed to gave you a hug, “You’re always welcome.”
“It’s my turn now.” He stood up and grabbed something behind the plant beside where you moved the table a while ago. And to your surprise, his guitar is what he grabbed. “Your gift’s a big help for my gift.” he said and sat back down.
He started strumming some chords which already gave you goosebumps. “I will never get used to seeing you play the guitar.” you said as you looked at him with hearts in your eyes. “Well, you need to.” he said with a smirk.
“Here it goes,” he cleared his throat and start strumming the guitar with the pick you just gave him. “Y/N, my love. This is for you.”

“I still have one more gift though.” you broke into the hug and gave him a frown. Before you even ask what it is, Jeongwoo leaned and without any notice, he gave you a kiss on the lips which you didn’t expect at all. After that, you just found yourself wrapping your arms around his broad shoulders and kissed him back.
“For the last 2 years of us being together, I held really still because I respect what your father and I promised each other but now that we’re both finally legal adults, I can finally do it now.” Jeongwoo confessed after the kiss and you stared at each other’s eyes though you were both shy about it. “Well, if not because of Haruto, you could’ve already did it few days ago.” you reminded of him that made both of you laugh. “Most important thing is, we’re each other’s first kiss.” he flashed you a smile.

“Hey,” the student from backstage called you. “I forgot. Chaehyun asked me to give you this.” She passed a folded paper to you and went back.
When the student left, you opened the paper and to your surprise, it’s a confession letter.

When the manager took over the bar, he gave me some water. “It will be appreciated if you drink this and sober up a little, sir.” Without saying anything, I drank the water he gave me. Thankfully, it really did helped me sober up a little bit.
While making myself sober up a little more, I saw you walking inside and instead of going back to the bar, you went straight ahead and had fun.
I don’t know what has gotten into me but I just found myself watching over you. You grabbed and grabbed yourself a drink until you’re drunk already. I wanted to approach you when you bumped onto someone.
He whispered something in your ears and next thing I saw, he was dragging you somewhere else. I followed and saw you entered a room. “Hi, sir. Did you reserved a room for tonight?” A lady blocked me. “No, but--”

He grabbed your face to make him look at you. “It must be fate that finally made us be with each other.” you smiled into each other.
After staring at each other’s eyes, Mingyu leaned down to give you a kiss. And without hesitation, you wrapped your arms around his neck and kissed him back.

"Huba, can you tell me if this smells good?" You ran out of humidifier scent oil so you asked Hiyyih to come with you and buy one. "I'm thinking of changing the scent oil of my humidifier."
"First, I told you don't ever call me that. Let me smell it." she rolled her eyes and snatched the scent oil from your hand. She then sniff into it and nod her head maybe because of satisfaction.
