seeing fan boss stuff here was really inspiring, so i've reminded myself to post my old secret boss concept, Clui!
Clui is a little helpful pixie from the hospital Dark World, originally just one of the many helpful darkners tending to bedridden lightners. One day, she met a strange individual, who opened her eyes to her existance, which she now believes serves exclusively to help lightners along their "quest".
Gifted with knowledge of game mechanics, lecturing you about save points and tension points, but also mixes in completely nonsense faux fantasy keywords like "mana drives" and "limit boosts". Her speech is riddled with emphasized words, using colored text, bold lines and even unicode.
Sends you on a self admitted **Fetch Quest!** to gather the **Ancient Scrolls**, as her DETERMINATION BAR has been low, and she can help the party if she has a Pep Boost!
Each "Ancient Scroll" is actually related to one of the deceased monsters who fell in the hospital, and gathering all, Clui is infused with the last sparks of determination of said monsters, their hopes and dreams.
This power she seeked to become the ultimate helper is too much for any darkner body, and it starts melting and turning her into an amalgamated mess. In her desperation, she believes a lightner's SOUL can stabilize her mutation and give her the determination, and attacks the party, promising she's just borrowing a couple Life Points.
Her light world counterpart is the angel doll in Rudy's hospital room.
