reigen week 2025 | day 5 | past / present / future

adding explanation to this one. why not

- dark hair bc it's my steadfast belief that she bleaches it, but doesn't start doing so until after she quits her job to start s&s

- slightly shorter hair bc i headcanon that she wanted to start her office job with a nice clean haircut but cut everything too short, and was then stuck waiting for it to grow out again

- paler and skinnier than i usually draw her bc she's really not healthy 😔 her face is even more washed-out by the lighting, becoming almost corpse-like, to symbolize 1. she's alive but not really living, and 2. present-day reigen is trying to smother this other person she was/still is

- smaller eyes with no sparkle, flatter hair, and all around less cartoony-cute than i usually draw her, even in my semi-realistic style. reigen the psychic is not only larger-than-life, she desperately wants to be an ikemen anime protagonist, and that's reflected in how i stylize her. this isn't that reigen.
