A Word of Advice
This is for those Tanks and DPS out there that have never played a healer and take us for granted. And also to the healers out there who consider themselves so great that “everyone who isn’t as good as they are is trash/a casual”. Do not judge other healer’s gameplay or skill based on past experiences and expectations. Just because the healer is present on your team/party does not mean your HP bar is going to magically remain at 100% the whole time. Just because you have a healer does not mean it’s time for you to say “fuck it all” and just stand in everything because “the healer will save me”. That’s laziness and the lack of the ability to cooperate with your teammates.
And finally…
Do not EVER call a healer butt hurt, tell them to suck it up or disregard them completely when they ask you to either stop or start doing something or complain about something. If they have to ask you to change your game play slightly, that means you’re currently making it difficult for them to keep you alive. And if they can’t keep you alive, then you will die. MMO dungeon raiding is a team sport and your healer isn’t an NPC. They’re a person. One healer is not the same as the next. That’s why Overwatch has 5 support roles. That’s why FFXIV has three healing classes. That’s why Revelation Online grants you a choice of being a full on healer or an OH with two available classes. To suit the play styles of different people and even within those classes each player is different. So just because Healer A from your party last week was able to do XYZ without an issue, Healer B may have some trouble for whatever reason and has the right to ask you to not be a dick for two seconds.
Healer B also has the right to let you kiss pavement if you refuse to comply due to some personal notion that the healer is just being a butt hurt noob. And that won’t be their fault. That’s all you, honey.

I agree with this completely, I hate seeing people bitch because their healer isn't perfect, I knew someone on Eden Eternal like that because I was a healer as well as an attacker, when I couldn't heal them (idk their gender) because I was having trouble holding enemies off of myself they would literally demand an explanation, so what I said was something like "unlike you who was on above half health I was having a difficult time keeping myself at half health as I was having to hold off enemies as well as you whilst trying to focus on healing anyone who NEEDED healing" and some more stuff, but let's just say that they didn't have a go at me for not healing them again, probably because I started helping out those of lower levels and getting them through quests/areas, tbh had some really good friends on there, but because my one laptop broke and I wasn't able to play on it for a long time the game deleted my characters...
